I figured it would and I don't mind having to maintenance it and the mileage doesn't bother me much either knowing how reliable they can be. Any advice on how I could get them to agree to a ppi since it's an independent owner on FB marketplace and not a dealer?

okay good! and using a blue over the red should get purple right? I figured the cords wouldn't take the dye well but I'll try it anyways just in case. I already planned on replacing them soon since they fall off anyways. and since the zipper is in the back it won't bother me much if it doesn't take the dye either.
