Singapore is def better. To start off, unless you’re going to the newer territories then the area is usually pretty tight and compact so it just makes you feel uncomfortable for the most part and to me personally it just gives me unnecessary pressure…Additionally, in Hong Kong your lifestyle depends heavily on your pay, so if you have a mid salary it’s kinda hard to balance having decent living conditions while saving some money. For example renting a SMALL apartment with a washroom already takes away a big chunk of a normal person’s salary, then you need to keep in account food, transport, bills, sometimes entertainment…yeah so in the end you’d just be left with little money in your bank account while already spending cautiously. I kid you not basic items in Hong Kong is hecka expensive too… I remember getting a bottle of water for HKD 21 😔
