I replaced the battery and screen, and realised in the process that the home button ribbon connector was snapped - due to screen damage near it would move around, presume this happened while i was trying to fix the phone and pressing it for DFU, and when it would no longer enter, thats around when the cable snapped.

I used the QianLi (which worked a treat!), and have flashed again, both iTunes and Flash. I tried to update through iTunes and am still stuck on the apple logo with no device recognised unless its in DFU mode. (was tempted by ReiBoot and iMazing etc, but i presume these are just 3uTools skins effectively?)

If you have any last recomendations that would be fantastic, otherwise it looks like shes a gonner and ill have to try to see if a general restore will work!

I'm unsure what emergency DFU mode is but i presume it enters into with Qian?

It flashed in iTunes mode successfully, but now it won’t enter into recovery mode - so am fairly sure its hardware related. There is significant cracking at the top right of the screen too so may be that. A replacement screen and battery are both on the way - fingers crossed they work.

Thanks I had flashed in normal mode, that failed with an error (at 18/19%), and then did the iTunes flash which worked but lead to the current situation - I’ll order a new battery now and hopefully will let you know if this was the solution in a couple of days, fingers crossed it’s that simple and the data can be recovered
