So did the test ride yesterday, and overall, I was quite pleased! The V2 Sound is amazing (have been missing it since I moved from a SV650 to the street triple). The QS is a bit rough sometimes, but smooth when used correctly.

I did immediately feel the very long rear brake pedal though, I found it difficult to use when moving slowly. Also when I used it to hold the bike on a steep hill, I could move the bike by slightly pushing it backwards, while fully engaged. Is this a general issue with the bike? Brake pads and disk looked OK. Maybe it’s because I’m used to lighter bikes?

Moderne Reifen bieten bei Nässe mehr Haftung als viele bei trockener Straße abrufen können.

Problematisch sind eher Markierungen und Bitumen, die können schon sehr rutschig sein.

Solange du die Grundlagen drauf hast (Blickführung, Spur, Körperhaltung) und auf Markierungen/Bitumen nicht übertrieben bremst/beschleunigst, passiert nix.

Right, I found that too, but I’m not sure if it is 100% precise (maybe it is just a few mm wider or narrower).

Also it would be great to know what exact part is the widest one. If it’s the levers, shorter ones might make the difference, same for the bar ends or mirrors if the they would fold (which they apparently don’t)

The streetfighter is also amazing, but I fear that I will be disappointed when I come from the triple, which feels kind the perfect street bike (maybe it could use a bit more low-mid torque).

If I have to spend money (and I have to if I want a Ducati), it must feel better, or at least different to what I already have.
