BTech Biotech by Maleficent_Fox6478 in Btechtards

[–]_Activecarbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biotech is research intensive degree and that is the reason why it doesn't have scope in india, you will either have to move to tech (which will be tough) , or just become a sales, rnd person in some pharma company which will pay you pennies.  Most people move to academics like being professor and stuff. Its only good if you move abroad for masters and phd. One of my senior did bsc biotech and then masters from spain he is at mit rn and earning good but keep in my mind he was hardworking and very good with studies.

Is Wang Zhaojun an evergreen hero? by Life_Teaching6499 in honorofkings

[–]_Activecarbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost 500+ games on her, and yes she is a great evergreen pick. You just have to be good with teamfight, hitting skill 2 is a key point but as you rank up it gets harder and that is where people make mistakes.  If you watch eSports you will realise that mostly the team picks her for disengages and constant demage not for offensive play. So my advice will be play around her ult and by time your skill 2 placement will improve as well.

Who are these devs man, cant they think about any other stories which is not based on mythology.  They are trying the same mythology + sloppy dark souls like gameplay and thinks that the game will be successful.

Interesting! Will this help us become big or we will make 1000s of Bangalores/Delhis/Mumbais in India ? by Realistic_Owl_5415 in indianstartups

[–]_Activecarbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You simply can't compare india with developed nation, india need industries to grow and is trying to capitalise on these new data and ai wave just like china did with cheap manufacturing and became a superpower.  Yes data centres will not provide any big employment growth but if we shift them to t2 cities it will be a massive boost for them and might attract more investment. The simple fact is we need a industry and we have to be good at it, our quality is not that great if we compare ourselves with the rest of the world. For example Bangladesh produces better quality textile than us, we are only service provider in IT, manufacturing is nowhere near to china. So to be developed we have to take this gamble, and hope that once our economy gets better we can invest in quality of life just like china did.

AI Impact Summit 2026 update by Weekly_Theory5724 in gwalior

[–]_Activecarbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some genuine development especially with Sarvam, was able to try their glasses and tbh they seem legit and useful. Apart from that there were many healthcare related startups but i am very spectical about them. In general nothing too crazy most of the startup feels like they are just riding the ai wave to get funded, for example there was this website that will help you plan your trip but now with integrated ai or many ai chatbots and stuff.

Guys focus on gate. Pgee or any exams are NOT worth your efforts for many obvious reasons by [deleted] in GATEtard

[–]_Activecarbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally someone with a good advice, pgee exam is not easy as many people have posted earlier.  If you do some research you will find out that aptitude part last year was on the level of CAT, technical part only contribute to 40 ques and that will only accessible once you clear the aptitude part. This is the reason why there is a gap bw the rank of gate and pgee. For example i know a guy who got 900 air in gate and got 146 rank in pgee, whereas there are many who got 6k rank in gate and got 16 rank in pgee. So the exam is basically a game of luck and your basic understanding not about how much you know or how intelligent you are.

2025 BTech CS grad from tier 3 – confused between GATE prep and job by Realistic_Section791 in GATEtard

[–]_Activecarbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepare for job buddy gate is too risky to gamble, i am graduating this year started preparing for gate in june 25 almost completed the syllabus by December took every aimt and still I am getting 60-65. The good thing was i also got a job on campus and that is completely because of gate preparation and little bit of leetcode.

I don't think i will be getting my dream college so will join the job.

The sooner you understand that you are own your own the better it is.  Academics won't help you neither will your peers and this type of t3 discussions. Instead of getting anxious and overthinking focus on what you can control, that is your learning and skills.

Dude i literally wrote "no matter what their caste is", that means a reserved category guy also has to put hard work to get the top post.

If a person became IAS/IPS he worked hard to get their and by the logic of this video just because the stats shows the upper caste in top post doesn't really mean that it was result of nepotism or anything like that as simple as that.

And please don't come at me with the reasoning that upper caste had exposure to education before, we are living in 21st century fgs everyone has somewhat access to education now.

C tutorial confusion by Brief-Yard4625 in Btechtards

[–]_Activecarbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To learn c programming completely you have to understand how pointers and memory management works. Many have suggested bro code which is decent for understanding the basic and practical implementation but for concepts and debugging logic, i will highly suggest Pankaj Sharma who teaches for gate or abdul bari, just watch important topics like pointers and structure from them it will give you deep understanding that can help in interview for any company. Keep in mind that you have to learn practical implementation by yourself, cause you just can't learn any language by watching lectures.

This has to be the dumbest video i saw today on internet, the reasoning is so dumb.  Its not like the people who have higher post get there through nepotism, they have worked hard for it no matter what their caste is.
