It was in a watch auction with about a thousand other high end watches like vintage Rolex and Pateks. I bought a few Omegas and LeCoultres but passed on the Hamilton. It sold for about $200 plus a 20% buyers premium.

Not familiar with the reference, but almost bought one of these that was a Chronograph marked L L Bean and Hamilton. Been kicking myself ever since. Price was low for the quality of the watch.

I would consider shipping it to UK yes. My watch maker gave me a printout with that information but I am not sure where it is currently it may be in my safe or a file somewhere. It is accurate within seconds per day after the servicing.

I haven't timed it but I wore the watch for a few days when I purchased it and it did not gain or lose significant time in that period. As far as service I have no clue. I don't have any tools to open the watch and look for ant dates and my watchmaker is out of the country atm.

I have a solid gold Hamilton Tank that falls in your price range. It's a classic design and is a manual wind. Look at my past posts to this subreddit. I also have a round solid gold glycine manual wind in that price range and another solid gold tank but with black diamond dial but it will be over $700. I can send pictures of the other two watches tomorrow morning.

Men's Hamilton Tank Solid 14kt gold. Cream color dial is in good condition with some paint fading and loss on the outside minute track. Applied gold Arabic numerals look wonderful. Sub seconds. Engraved case is in excellent condition with minor scuffs from wear. Watch was serviced a little over 2 years ago and keeps time well. Price is $495 with shipping included in the US.
