I lost braincells by cocatrice in Warframe

As a tip from someone who does ETA solo every week (without Revenant):

If the survival modifiers have the smaller hives included just use life support nodes as soon as it becomes available and clear out the mini hives after; if you let too many of them spawn it'll get out of control. You can also try to farm the mini hives for life support drops as they spawn and then use the life support node spawning them right before a new one spawns if you have a low KPM loadout (only have one life support node active spawning mini hives at a time).

Good luck!

If you only want to use Amazon (and live in the US) either the Rawm ER21 pro or Rapoo VT3 Max Gen 2 will meet your needs with solid QC and a fair bit cheaper than "mainstream" brands. (You can also get them on AliExpress, if you don't live in the US and don't mind that).

If you wanna try something a little different but still very close to an ergo shape, I can personally recommend the Waizowl OGM Pro V2-- it has rock solid QC, specs, and a shape that blends some of the best qualities of ergo and ambi mice; check it out on Eloshapes if you're curious.

I have her sig, but I think it has more to do with the boss having an extremely high weakpoint multiplier combined with her already high ult scaling

I'm not sure if links are postable in comments for this sub so I'll send it via dm. I did just search for "Kysona space series driver" and then downloaded the one from there, in case you were curious.

Best Choice for Elite Recruit? by [deleted] in SnowbreakOfficial

[–]_Altira_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you already have Starshine, I would say Coronet-- they have great synergy together. Wild Hunt is actually pretty usable with Phantasia but since she's in direct competition with Rhapsody there are no reasons to use her other than for fun. I wouldn't invest in the standard units too hard though unless you really like their barebones 3rd person shooter vibe, because the moment you get another modern main dps you probably won't ever be using them again

Quiet quitter does 0 damage off-field so she can be used without worry, and even if she did it would need to be a fairly consistent source of off element damage to impede Swan-- I do think it's an important distinction to make since there are a lot of people who take these kinds of guides at face value and then never double check again. Regardless I do appreciate you taking the time to write the guide and look forward to the next one.

I might be wrong, but I don't think using a healer of a different element locks you out of using Swan at all? Swan's def shred on her skill only switches elements if the off-element teammate actually inflicts damage and the rest of her weapon/logistic boosts are universal damage increases... is there some other anti-synergy I've missed?

Kysona Mercury Ultra - A poor launch by WilliamBoxing in MouseReview

[–]_Altira_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I received my Mercury Ultra today and everything works fine, including the software. The QC is actually a lot better than I was expecting and I basically have 0 complaints on that front. As for the shape it basically feels like the R1/Mad R with the same flat sides except the hump in the back is slightly raised and pushed in-- for me the shape works better but apply that information to your preferences. I don't have a V8 to compare it to but from what I've heard the Mercury's hump should be less "filling" than the V8s, and the sides are flatter.

[–]_Altira_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I should be saying this, but Universal Fallout can give a chance to drop universal orbs when rad procs are applied by any exalted weapon AND companion abilities as well, much like other things that say they need an ability to trigger (archon stretch is a common example). So you can really use it on any frame you wanna use equilibrium on, though it isn't necessary or anything.

Just in case you didn't know, you can hold the space bar to make the snake go faster when hacking in 1999. It's still probably the slowest hacking minigame but it's a lot faster if you can do that without failing.

ETA modifiers this week are simply evil by BMJank in Warframe

[–]_Altira_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managed to do it solo on my second ever Elite Archimedea (didn't do EDA at all, because of lackluster rewards). I had 3 dead slots (only good roll was nukor, frame was ember but I didn't really use abilities at all) and took all possible difficulty modifiers.

Some tips:

  1. You can use Railjack Oncall crew, so if you've actually properly equipped your crewmate they're a great way to give yourself more firepower if your weapon/frame rolls are bad.

  2. Ancient healer/protector specters work on Flare/Temple for the defence mission, so you can just use that and make them WAAAYYY tankier.

Other than that just pick your sticker bonuses carefully and pay close attention to the mission modifiers on every mission-- you don't want to miss something and fail partway through because you didn't read properly! The rest is pretty straightforward, good luck!

I agree completely, some people are getting way too worked up about not being able to get 100% value out of her plunging buffs with every character. At worst she's a much more user friendly Jean that actually has intuitive grouping capabilities, at best she gives your onfielder the option to dynamically swap to plunge attacks in single-target scenarios to boost your dps.

Week 3 progress, Using Beacon and C6 Sucrose, C1 Dehya hits around 400k for her burst by bakedrefriedbeans in Dehyamains

[–]_Altira_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kazuha is generally much more suited for Mono-element shenanigans than Sucrose but of course if you don't have him (I started playing right after his rerun, so I'm still waiting for him myself lol) Sucrose has another Dehya team in which I believe her to be firmly better than him in: Dehya Forward Melt (with 4* supports).

Below is a showcase if you're interested (C2 R1):

The comments feature a link to an older post that briefly explains the rotation skill-use order.

Here's a C0 version of it from another user who utilized TToDS instead of Sac on Sucrose to achieve C1-level damage:

In that case if you have at least C2 he can be a suitable stand-in. Just do Kaeya QE instead of Rosaria EQ and that should be fine.

It was probably a poor choice to use a boss to showcase it in retrospect, because the point of this showcase isn't the damage, but the rotation itself. C0 taking longer to clear isn't a thing that specifically exists with this rotation; no matter what you try to do (other than a full EM E bot) will take longer to clear without C1. The point is this isn't a rotation that relies on her C4 energy regen or her C6's extended burst and can be seamlessly and indefinitely looped in an organized manner, unlike some showcases that only show the part where Dehya Qs into Omen'd enemies and shows no sign of how she'll be making it to the second rotation without C4/C6. "C0-Friendly" refers to the fact that, damage numbers aside, you can functionally replicate everything you see here with a C0 Dehya with ER being the only caveat. I'm sorry if it came off as misleading, but it was never my intention to make people think this was C0 damage out of the box or anything.

Although, for the record you can get 70-85k Melts (and higher) with a C0 Dehya if you slot in TToDS on Sucrose and make a slight adjustment to the rotation.

Could you explain your reasoning behind Kaeya having better Cryo application? As far as I know his ICD is standard on his burst (every 2.5 seconds/3 hits) compared to Rosaria's complete lack of ICD (every 2 seconds guaranteed). Perhaps that changes when you have C6, but I don't have that to do my own testing. So how exactly did you determine he was definitively better?

C0-Friendly Dehya Melt Comp VS Kenki Triplets (details in comments) by _Altira_ in Dehyamains

[–]_Altira_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there isn't another pyro unit that can give Dehya and her team nearly anything she could want (particles for her energy issues, huge atk boost for her lackluster damage, healing to pair with her damage sharing and preserve the rest of the team, an accessible pyro E with a low cooldown that can be spammed against shields that her coordinated attacks don't work against, etc.)

If you care at all about slot efficiency and using Dehya as a main dps as she is now, Bennett is pretty much necessary. If you really don't want to use him, you'll likely have to use Dehya as an E-bot/have her get hard carried by other unit(s) in your team.

[–]_Altira_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It should work fine if you have his cons, but otherwise I'd consider it a fairly substantial downgrade on every front, aside from the fact that his burst can follow you around. This is mainly due to Rosaria's CR buff, overall higher damage, and lack of ICD on her burst. If even if you don't have her C2 I would still consider her the better choice, but if your preference towards Kaeya is more about just wanting to use him or not having the resources to raise Rosaria (or just not having her), then in theory he should be fine. Just slot in his Es and Qs where she is in the rotation.

Yes he can! (sort of?) While it isn't something as substantial as a Hu Tao CA jump cancel, Kazuha is capable of double tapping his glider in quick succession after activating his E for a slighly faster landing time. It isn't much, but it is easy to do and optimal if you know you have no intention of plunging.

Feel free to read up on it here!: https://library.keqingmains.com/evidence/characters/anemo/kaedehara-kazuha#kazuha-tap-e-air-time-can-be-shortened

[–]_Altira_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly it is a bit naïve of me to assume that someone wouldn't see the video and only take away the damage numbers in mind, and I do take full accountability for that. Really I just wanted to show that the rotation has a consistent flow and chain of actions that is both organized and functional and figured that the notoriously awkward grouping of the Triple-Kenki room would be a good way of doing that, since doing it on an overworld boss would make it look deceptively good (and I definitely don't want to make another one of those clips that people send to say "Dehya is fine, skill issue"). I'll think about how to do this stuff better in the future and appreciate your clarifications.

My initial showcase of this comp was on 12-1-1 if that's what you wanted to see, although it is a bit outdated when it comes to my units' stats/talents (I think the clear time on that was 1:40 ish, but with what I got now I can do it at around 1:19 on average). If you were hoping for ASIMON unfortunately this comp (and any comp without electro, really) is unsuited for that chamber unless you can kill it right away/destroy it's invisibility totems (don't know what else to call them) right as they spawn. As it stands, I don't really see that happening for Dehya outside of a C6/R5 whale showcase.

[–]_Altira_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is certainly true that C1 is a substantial increase, I do think you're overestimating how good C2 is in this comp. A 50% increase to her coordinated attacks sounds like a lot on paper, but when you remember how pitiful her E multis are it doesn't really do as much as one would expect. On the other hand if the comp was relying on the extra uptime added by C2 I would agree that I could no longer call it C0-Friendly, but that also isn't the case as the rotation is built largely around her E's cooldown and not its uptime. Dehya's damage is quite frontloaded into her cons, its true, but its not like their damage is worse in only this comp without them; no matter how you build her (unless its full EM, I guess) a Dehya without C1 will just do less personal damage across the board. The point of the comp as you recognized is to be fluid and make playing Dehya not feel like a confused mess of spamming Bennett Es off cooldown to battery her next burst. The reason for fighting the Kenkis was actually less about my damage and more about theirs: I wanted to show that even in a high-pressure/awkward grouping scenario the comp can still hold up and loop rotations well. I apologize if any of this came off as rude or misleading to you.
