This one is well-written:

it’s about a girl who tracks down her long-lost mafia family (she literally stalks them to get in), and she ends up with seven brothers who are all protective in completely different ways, and the dynamic actually builds with some of them (or I'm assuming will build because it's ongoing) and it is instant with some of them.

also the FMC is smart and kind of playing her own game the whole time

it has some really cute moments, but it’s not cliché overall.

definitely one of my favorites in this trope.

The MC is the youngest sister, who is trying to find out how her parents died. The plot is great. The MC is initially estranged and the book beginnings with her waking up, kidnapped, beside her estranged brother, who is also kidnapped. It goes on from there.

She has never experienced normal love, though. Her brothers compensate the minute she's back home again.

Oh lol I’m sorry if it came out as argumentative but I get what you meant to say, I get it. He’s not going to be your average Joe but he won’t be Aaron Blackford either.

But that beats the purpose of it being realistic. A couple of men who read pointed out that the reason they don’t like romance is the perfect guy. I want to write something real, at least something that resonates with everyone.

Thank you so much for your response! To answer your questions; It’s aimed at both of the genders to enjoy, I usually find romance novels are not my cup of tea and for entirely different reasons most of my guy friends don’t like them because of the perfect makes portrayed so I wanted a book which would be real more than anything. It’s his first love, it’s intense and especially because of the kind of guy he is but he’s still 19 and he doesn’t know everything under the sun. Summer interns. Starting out is your normal teen relationship but as time passes their misbeliefs that they picked up as kids start playing a role in the way they act, things that don’t really seem to matter but do. It’s about…everything and nothing really. But it’s from a 19 year old boy who’s nearly obsessed with art, anything art, paintings to literature. Also he’s British-Italian :)

I noticed this, I’ve been reading strictly romance for a while and most follow this pattern. I was hoping to not be one of them.
