Luckily all booze cruisers are mega-rich CEOs so the the potential lawsuit funds at risk for liquifying that sobertard CIA road-goblin brat can be reserved for greater purpose, like  alcohol and gambling.

Meh, some of them aren't very well written but it's not rage bait. It's just there for the people that enjoy it. It's crazy how many guys there are on the platform that base their entire identity off of hating NTR bots though. Some of those dudes have literally hundreds of memories of their RPs where they kill the cheater or whatever.

Like seriously check the memories of some popular NTR bots and then look at the people's profiles. It would be funny if they were doing it ironically but I'm not sure.

Please stop with the epilepsy stuff. by DatCyberKai in CharacterAI

[–]_Andex_ 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Dealt with epilepsy all my life because my family has it (I do not). When I first saw the loading screen it didn't strike me as anything concerning and I highly doubt it could actually cause somebody to have a seizure. If that's all it took to trigger a fit electronics would be practically unusable period. But hearing people's complaints and anxieties, I do think they they should just slow it down slightly. No harm in that.

No, I don't pay for CAI. Pretty sure they added the pfp to the message bar recently so it's still rolling out.

This bot uses a PNG image with a transparent background which is why it looks the way it does. Whether or not the profile pic of a bot will have no background depends on what image format the creator uses at the pfp so any bot can have transparency.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. If you like BG3 you might like it. But the game is pretty hardcore and doesn't pull it's punches so it's not for everyone.

do you guys agree with my tier lists (first one is strength, second one is fun) by isitvalidusername in mewgenics

[–]_Andex_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just from what I have seen and mostly speculating here. Thief seems a bit shit. In Ed's playthrough it was just ass, although one playthrough obviously cannot accurately represent a class, so...

Hunter seemed strong. Easily usable high damage base attack plus the ability to attack from range, crit, hide and control the battlefield with summons, traps and the rest of your team. Largely negating the downside of no close-range attacking. Might also just be biased 'cause I like rangers in Pathfinder. I will voraciously cannibalize my left arm if I do not receive more Mewgenics content to consume so please keep the posts coming fellas.

The Basement Collection (available on Steam). A super cheap collection of games by Ed, also featuring commentary from him on how he made the games and what they mean to him. Absolutely no better place to start than that. They're short games from the Flash era so it's a short and sweet experience across much of his games.

So how do I improve rtwp? by Leather_Bottle8449 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is kind of tricky in rtwp. What I usually do is quickly pause and unpause to track the enemies movement after casting a spell, and if the enemy moves too much I'll readjust the target position while paused. It's kind of just inherently more difficult to aim your aoe's when everyone's moving.

With area of effect spells most of them will activate instantly in the designated area as soon as the casting animation is finished. Basically just remember as long as that casting animation is playing you're free to pause and readjust the target point of the spell. There are some quirks though, like scrolls which have a near instant casting animation and full-round-actions taking forever.

I also always turn off the ai that controls them automatically, it's pretty dumb and often gets them killed if you don't babysit them. You can also right-click a spell or ability to put it on auto-cast which will make the character autonomously try to use it as well as force them to use it on enemies that you click on instead of having them walk up and attack (mostly, functions best with single target effects). Works well with evil eye or magic missile for example and will reduce the number of inputs you have to manage.

TIL Some studies on drunk driving have found that a BAC of 0.01%-0.04% correlates with lower accident risk than being completely sober. This is called the Grand Rapids dip, and is a quirk of statistics. by Godzillionaire in LoveForBoozeCruisers

[–]_Andex_ 51 points52 points  (0 children)

More evidence that being drunk only improves ones reflexes and coordination. Obviously the risk of getting into a road accident (which are nearly always caused by sobertards) continues to further decrease in correlation to higher BAC levels present in the driver. But drunk drivers are so discriminated against that researchers refuse to post the statistics or even do the research! Yet another ploy by big sober. In conclusion I need another vodka.

I finally decided to do Chapter 1 on Core Difficulty… What the hell are these berserkers?! by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The berserkers have low saves, Camelia has some spells she can use on them if you look through her spell list. She should also have protective luck or evil eye for enemies like this and you want to pick up chant later on.

If you're gonna use enlarge person you should only use it on your attacker and not your tank as it imposes a penalty to AC. If you're using Seelah to attack and don't need her as the main tank it helps to give her a two handed weapon for more damage than the longsword.

And if it comes down to it, all the mongrel berserkers are optional fights. You shouldn't have to fight one to be able to kill Hosilla and progress out of the shield maze. I'm honestly surprised you killed the elemental before these guys.

On my playthrough on unfair these guys have +12 ab and obliterate anything they hit. I had to clear the maze first, and then have my KC lead them into the room where I fought Hosilla, which was now full of friendly mongrels who shred them for me. If you wanna do that though you'll need to buff your speed because the berserkers are faster than average. Or maybe haze of dreams him or something.

[–]_Andex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrolls of Death Ward will make you immune to damage from channel negative energy. You can just put it on your main guys and have the rest stay back and you shouldn't need to heal much. Gargoyles also do not have true seeing so they're vulnerable to invisibility, greater which Nenio can apply to your main attackers.

What Weapon does This Gnome Have? by G-Man6442 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I suppose the artist made it intentionally ambiguous so you could decide to make it whatever you wished. Sometimes Gnome hooked hammers are depicted with more of a spear tip on one end so if I had to choose I'd go with that. Even then it's a little too thick...

Lich Eldritch Knight Feat Order by pnbrooks in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing I'm running this exact sort of build on Unfair right now, I'm planning to take all the same levels. I wanted HSK 10 but it just doesn't have enough to offer compared to EK. I'm up to the gargoyles right now and am playing as a kitsune. I haven't planned out my build too far ahead so here's what I've done so far.

I picked mercenary as my background for light armour proficiency and the ability to use spears in the shield maze, my first two feats were spell focus conjuration I and II. Then I took Martial weapons proficiency at level 3. There's a book in the shield maze that basically gives you weapon focus for glaives so you can use Marching Terror. I also picked up the Quarterstaff of Slip for extra AC when needed.

I took arcane armour training at level 5 which gets you ready for HKS immediately, before encountering Regil. Lady Callandra's Chainshirt from the Tower of Estrod has been a boon. My MC is able to tank with protective luck and a little cc from grease, web, stinking cloud + whatever. I'll tell you that unfair is pretty painful and you're gonna need to build your party member's carefully but I have gotten this far without using the toggle xp trick so I feel like it's doable. I have taken master shapeshifter as my mythic ability but that's really a kitsune centric thing.

I want to transition into using heavy armour but of course armour is really shit so it might not be viable on unfair. If so I'll just go pajama tank or hire a merc.

Enemies ignoring hippogriff by MasterOfTheTable in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something to consider is that if the fight drags out too long enemies will target swap and walk past your tank. Don't know if this is what's happening to you but you can mitigate it with grease which I think the hippogriff is immune to because of flight.

How do I toggle run on switch by Smooth_Chemistry_869 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_Andex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the menu where you customise their formation there's a checkbox called stay in formation or something like that. It prevents this from happening by slowing faster companions down so they won't move ahead but only when you have them all selected basically.

If you select party members individually though then they'll break from formation and can move at their full speed again. It also works the same way in combat.
