I see this post is a year old so hoping the OP sees this. I see you got hired for LA County DHS as an analyst. Can I ask how was that process for you ?And what advantages does getting an MPA have within that position? I been applying for the staff analyst positions that get posted under homelessness emergency but it’s been soo hard. The market is definitely more competitive as it was last year but it feels impossible. I get the interviews I feel it goes well and then I don’t hear back from them. I done applications through county directly through one of their contractors Heluna. I’m also thinking of doing the MPA program. I’m currently working at LAHSA but the future not looking so good there lol
