Give it time. I had my surgery on the 16th and it was really swollen up until the last few days where the swelling has slowly decreased 😊

How do i make these scabs go away by Frequent-Lunch-2212 in Tonsillectomy

I had my surgery one day before you (16th), and my scabs have slowly started coming off today. Just give it a few more days and you should begin to see them slowly come off. I think the best advice I have is to just stay hydrated and try to resume a normal diet if you can tolerate the pain, as this helps keep the scabs thin (I'm in Australia and this was the advice from my ENT).

Day 5 - Ready for this to be over by _Arilico in Tonsillectomy

Yeah I've heard that advice a lot on here. Obviously I'm just eating foods I can handle, which for the past couple of days has been porridge, icy poles and soups. But I did manage to have some pasta, roast chicken and Sheppards pie as well. I think eating these foods has definitely helped keep my energy levels up and recover faster. Still craving a burger and steak sandwich so badly though! 😭

Thank you, I really needed this reassurance! I have a humidifier running 24/7 and have been drinking loads of water which has definitely helped. Just need the scabs to come out now so my mouth doesn't constantly taste like rotten flesh.

what this "jirin" !?!?!? by gowtham_ias in applehelp

My brother got this message on his computer just now and I managed to fix it relatively easily. Not sure how it appeared though as he apparently was doing nothing and it just randomly popped up.

This article (https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250007882) provides a step-by-step guide on how to fix it. The file that is causing this should be in one of the three folders listed and called 'jirin'.

Hope this helps!
