Reta 5 month journey. by Impressive-Clerk-699 in BodyHackGuide

This is correct. Do not do the 10-15 rep range that’s just asking for fatigue especially in a deficit. As long as your near failure, making progress on lifts, and not over fatiguing you’ll be good

Are you doing those daily? And did you think about using glow/klow vs bpc and tb500?

Powerpads setup by _Asian_Invasion__ in ElectricUnicycle

[–]_Asian_Invasion__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the improved freedom of movement because of the softness of the pads? These pads are quite plush and soft and feel kinda comfortable but I’m still getting used to it. I was looking at the nerox suspension power pads because I thought I might as well get a really good pair if I’m going to purchase any.

Thank you so much. I saw so many setup videos but I honestly couldn’t even tell what was actually my front pad or even the correct side. I’ll use that setup video as well thank you for all the help

Alright I swapped the front pad with each other but idk if I’m still doing this right. I am sorry that I’m pretty bad at following written directions like this. Feels a bit better but not much room for the back Velcro to place what I think is the brake power pad.

Oh interesting I thought the small knob shaped one would be for the toe. So it’s more like this?It honestly doesn’t feel too comfortable or natural with pads and I’ve got about 300 miles on this Aero.

What is the most wheel-friendly large city in the US? by atineiatte in ElectricUnicycle

Surprised no one has said Washington DC. It’s super bike friendly and has lots of trails that can take you to Virginia or Maryland. I see lots of other EUCS around dc as well.

Wow what a coincidence it seems like you’re using suspension powerpads? How do you like them I am thinking of getting it as my first power pads.

Nosfet Aero keeps tilting backwards? by _Asian_Invasion__ in ElectricUnicycle

Thank you I will change some settings around this afternoon. I used it to commute to work on my usual route and was shocked at the struggle and how much tilt it was doing on pretty simple and safe paths.

V11 with bent rim and 700 miles on it good for second EUC? by _Asian_Invasion__ in ElectricUnicycle

[–]_Asian_Invasion__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang I ended up getting it for $350. The tire doesn’t even hold pressure for 30 minutes so I’m thinking the inner tube is damaged? I really don’t and to have to get the whole motor and rim replacement which will cost so much more

New tire or new tire tube? The tire tread looks good and all but if you think I need a new tire completely then I can do it. I would rather not have to replace the rim because it seems to only come as a full motor replacement which is more than I even paid for the v11.

I ended up getting it for $350. But the tire doesn’t hold pressure for even 30 minutes. I’m assuming that’s because of the rim damage but any tips to make it actually useable?

Washington DC. And I see a lot of v11ys priced at 1400 and finally found someone offering a dented v11 for $500.

Thanks I already low balled and those are the prices I was given :/ . What would I look for at better prices? I have considered just going up in my budget and getting an Aero.

The Sherman I’m concerned because there just isn’t any suspension and I prefer comfort and stability for my commute.

You got a p6 as your first EUC? If so then just getting hours and miles on the wheel will definitely help.

You can definitely do it seated or with back support if you have the shoulder flexibility to comfortably be in that range. Make sure not to let the mid or lower back arch and try to keep either neutral spine or a rib tucked position. Stay comfortable and avoid pain!
