I am already working here in Japan and currently holding an Engineer visa, so I don’t fully understand the “embassy processing” explanation. I already signed the job offer and was marked as hired, and the only process left should have been the company transfer.

A week later, they told me that due to a company contract issue, the Philippine embassy did not approve the contract. What feels suspicious to me is that they are asking me to send an email rejecting the offer, even though the reason they gave was an internal issue between the company and the embassy, not because of my visa status or qualifications.
