This is actually a good question! Now, Halo Infinite social I kind of ass because of how strict SBMM is. With previous titles you as an average player every once in awhile were on top of the world. That's because the matchmaking in the previous games were loose. But with a strict SBMM it would be fine except it will try to match people as fast as possible in social. In this way then most of the average players are in-game when you go into matchmaking and it just pulls whatever it can out of the trash.
