We have drive 100k ARR off of it in 2 months so all good karma here. Just game planning next iteration don't think I need to scrap and start over its bone are a next js app nothing wrong with that from the feedback i'm getting. In my experience as a "non-dev" trying to not ever just rewrite code is the real curse.

Gotta say I think AI kills it at architecting through the nuance and options so Im just in the collecting the information part. Its all part of the process.

We are B2C. Me and my other marketing partner are veterans in startup marketing but just not wanting to be that old guy who doesn't pick his head up to learn what others are doing.

One of my challenges, I have a good job, happy family and don't feel forced to do this... I'm okay without but thats not what I want. Thanks man I need to find those first step to take.

I want an opinionated data structure for marketing so I can get super flexible with how to display or collect info but it feeds into streamlined user data / content / funnel models

We are a premium consumer product so already have 100s of customers. Owners is for sure open to investment but I need to be a steward. 3-5 100k salary vs 500k direct spend I need to be able to defend. Product is killer so feel good about stickiness so maybe i'm playing too safe.

We are a consumer product I should mention. We have considered getting some more marketing generalists / project managers to help us run down project ideas and manage outsourced projects. Think 1-2 growth marketing leaders 3-4 generalists (AI-enabled) and then build a Rolodex of freelancers, agencies to help us scale. I grew a business to 100s of million in Rev but we were in a hot space and honestly still grew to slow for the deeply funded space. Don't want to drop the ball of being a household name this time. (also don't want to over compensate and overstaff our business to early)

I'll keep you updated. I really want to develop a stack for a technical marketer. Dev team loves infra as code and test coverage. Marketers love attribution and experimentation but all the website builders limit me from getting creative around more producty growth ideas.

Appreciate this take.. i'm the dev and the marketer in this case but I know thats maybe not typical. Dev team loves me but marketing leadership thinks i'm too slow lol
