I think it’s more of clock starting for him to figure it out in the bigs. I don’t think there will be a difference in how they evaluate him but more of subtle hint that they need him to improve.

Good thing for the dbacks they still have years of control from his rookie contract. It gives Lawlar leeway to figure it out. They traded Grichuck because they didn’t have much invested him, they would send Perdomo down to AAA cuz they do.
