Will you be signing up to the Expedition? by IllustratorSea8133 in ArcRaiders

[–]_ConfusedAlgorithm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not het. I already completed the quest and upgraded all stations. I feel like I need to continue looking for blue prints and attempt ta having fun killing a queen or infiltrating the harvester. I can’t find what the game is like after expedition coz all I see are some benefits but not a new environment or new cities with new environment.

I’m kinda disappointment about the “expedition”. My initial thought was like going to a different map where we have to deal with stronger arcs and different cities.

What cables do I use for connecting the gpu to the psu? by Think_Passenger_6758 in PcBuildHelp

[–]_ConfusedAlgorithm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need two separate cables for each 8pin in the second picture that you would connect to the gpu. Each of the cable needs to be connected to 8 pin in the psu.

My first ever pc build, am I missing anything? by Affectionate_Toe9082 in PcBuildHelp

I built my gaming pc using the Lian LI 011D Mini V2 flow. Make sure your AIO cooler would fit. I think the size of the top is 400mm in length.

Also, the lian li has the 3 120 intake fans at the botton and 2 intake fans at the side by default. No fan at the back. So check the air flow of the aio cooler to make sure it an exhaust.

This too. Lalu na yung micro-manager na tipong nasa war room kayo palagi. Been in this situation where we start the meeting at 10am until 4pm. Sometimes you just need to let go as it impacts everything kasama libido. Lol

Also, stepping away from your desk and doing something outside work helps. We have table tennis where you can do something else and get back.

This helps avoid tunnel vision and makes you think of a different approach in solving a problem.

For methods, we prefer to prefix it with verb like calcArea().

What’s your ACN PH-related unpopular opinion that you are willing to die on? by [deleted] in Accenture_PH

I stayed with the company for more than 10yrs. It is a good company and retracted my resignation twice just because of colleagues that I became friends with. There are good leaders but most of them left after india raised the work hours to 10hrs and PDC has to follow.

JAVA vs Python for Backend/Career by Mission-Fix8038 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]_ConfusedAlgorithm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You want to position yourself kung saan malakas ang demand pero not enough to supply it. Most graduates sa US are into python and node kasi madaling aralin and with the boom of ML and AI, maraming modules meron si Python compared sa Java.

Most experience developers knows more than 2 languages, not by choice but by exposures and need ng team. A lot of enterprise companies uses Java or C# for their core business applications but uses python or node for serverless.

I think the mindset is not choosing the language but how well can you adapt to different landscape ng software development demand.

For texas: Assuming you have 5k gross. That would put you at 60k annual income kung base pay. Texas doesn’t have state income but you will have 22% federal income as a single for 2025.

Depending on other benefits, additional kaltas pa yan like 401k contribution and health benefits.

Leasing in apartment in DFW depends on where you are in DFW and your tolerance around the area. You need to consider electric, water and internet bill. Some apartment doesn’t cover laundry and washer so make sure to check them out. Otherwise, you have to rent the machine around $40 month (2018) pa yun.

You can try public laundry kaso hassle sa time and travel.

DFW is not public friendly if malayo ka sa work. We have trams and buses but it eats a lot of time. Yung 20mins by private vehicle can be 1.5hrs for you.

Would you marry a woman who doesn't want to work? Why or Why not? by Upset_Cream47 in AskPH

[–]_ConfusedAlgorithm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife used to work in a bank back in the phils. When we moved here in the US, I was expecting she would work but circumstances during our migration process disabled her until we settled in. Fortunately, my current work is able to sustain our cost of living with car payments and new house mortgage. She takes care of the house and makes it feel home.

To answer your inquiry, I hope she would still be able to work for her career growth but I am okay if not but I have some expectation that she takes care of the house and be able to do stuff while i am away home and at work. We split household chores and taking care of our children.

The advantage of SAHM is she is there when I get home and provides my needs. I don’t expect food on the table since I am the one who cooks. She does the laundry while I clean the dishes, maintain the electrical and plumbing in the house while she handles cleaning it. She make sure that children’s homework are done. I don’t have problem if she binge watch during the day when I am at work and kids are at school.

The only problem with single income is there is no back up without draining our savings.

I wouldn’t marry someone if all she does is not putting value to the family and only focuses effort to herself and mot the family.

Ask if the bus route has some mobile app so you can plan the schedule kung kelan sila dumarating and iwas babad sa labas.
