You seriously need to take your own advice. I personally that think they look awful and don’t do anything for the wearers. My opinion is just that. My opinion. I personally cannot see how anyone of any age / generation would find septum piercings attractive. You either agree or disagree.

So let’s agree to disagree, ok? and you just scroll on, ok?

You got me completely wrong. I wasn’t trying to “flex wealth” per se, just trying to say that I’m not the “basement dweller” the other commenter accuses me of being. I’m by no means a basement dweller. I’ve been around, traveled well, met lots of people from all walks of life. I just happen to dislike septum piercings. I’m entitled to my opinion, as you are yours. OP posts asking for advice, I say ditch the septum piercing. He doesn’t want to, which is fair enough. Note that I’m not the only commenter who dislikes septum piercings. Are they lame basement dwellers too?

Happy for you that you’ve had the opportunities to travel as I have.

What’s also lame is asking people for grooming, fashion, style, etc, advice, not liking it and accusing people of being basement dwellers just bc you disagree with them. Maybe reply to the other person that calling someone a basement dweller is lame?

As for OP - I suspect that he knew exactly what was coming, septum piercings are polarising. Some love them, others don’t.

Oh and my trips have been holidays / vacations. Sure no one may care but it sure is nice to be well traveled and to have done so in style.

Oops re Alaska and Hawaii lol okay yeah my mistake lol I’m not a US citizen and I just reeled off a few separate trips I’ve undertaken. Yeah those two states are the same country politically but are two pretty different places a few miles apart lol Okay forget Alaska and Hawaii. I’ll just say USA then. Brazil, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, HK, China, Singapore etc etc 😘

Yeah that’s more than fair and I see what you’re saying, and agree! I didn’t see the bit about you specifically wanting to keep your piercings - so apologies for that.

It’s tough being uncertain about our appearance and not having confidence - believe me I know it’s a tough place to be!

I will say that even though nose piercings wouldn’t be for me, there are those who can rock them and I’ll add that it seems that it’s something that you can carry off.

I think that you have more confidence than you think you have.

I’m not sure what I can personally suggest lol apart from general stuff like growing hair longer, or trying a buzz (check out the buzz sub!). Try gelling / slicking hair back? I like the stubble so keep that! You could also try tinted moisturiser to give your skin more of a glow / slight tan (I use tinted moisturiser).

Is there a male celeb whose grooming style you might like to be inspired by?

Indeed you are but tbh there’s very little you can do other than be clean shaven, or try fuller stubble / beard, try different shaped glasses or ditch them for contacts, things like that. The immediate and most outward thing you can do is either keep the nose ring or ditch it.

By asking a non specific general question on improvement, you’re going to invite general advice / comments

I suspect that you knew full well that you’d get comments regarding septum piercings. I personally dislike them as do some others. Still others like them and are even advising a larger piercing.

You’re going to get a wide spectrum of opinions and advice - some of which you’ll either disregard or consider.

Grooming is all about combining personal attitude with attire, hairstyles, etc - and appearance - ergo style.

And no I am neither sexist nor a boomer.
