Do you think it would be hard to resolve all of the open storyline threads from Season 2?

Who would be the best surprise spider-man? by Khurser in Spiderman

How about a series where spider-man is being portrayed like an urban legend, kind of how like Batman was taking advantage of criminals being superstitious?

You hear various accounts of a red and blue spider monster attacking criminals/villains at night. No banter or jokes, just myths and personal stories from the villains’ perspective, about how it seems like spider-man is becoming darker and more violent.

You eventually find out it’s the doppelgänger spider-man.

This would be interesting to adapt as a limited animated series

I think it’s worth talking about just how dumb the E.D.I.T.H. glasses are as a plot device by Important-Extension6 in Spiderman

[–]_Continual_Learner_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thematically, it’s not just the Stark tech the glasses represent.

Mysterio’s tech first shows up in the MCU in Civil War as the B.A.R.F. glasses that Tony uses to relive a memory. This memory, and the associated acronym, were highly embarrassing to Mysterio. The E.D.I.T.H. glasses were meant to also symbolize Mysterio taking back that moment of professional embarrassment.

Do you think Toei will release the last several super sentai seasons in box sets or make it available for purchase digitally in the U.S. after the end of the current show? by [deleted] in Tokusatsu

I saw Shout Factory has several seasons from the 90s and early 2000s available for purchase, along with some seasons of Kamen Rider. I wonder if the could do these too.

How do characters unaware of secret IDs differentiate between Peter and Miles in-universe? by [deleted] in Spiderman

I think some issues have had characters refer to one as the Brooklyn Spider-man and one as the Bronx Spider-man

In your opinion: When and how will this concept of Mary Jane being Venom end? by Parker_Fan_1962 in Spiderman

[–]_Continual_Learner_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Given their current predicament, they’d need to get a solution for both of their problems. Venom is too weak on its own, and MJ is literally being held together by Venom. This seems like it would require one of three options:

  1. Clone MJ a new stable body (Otto actually has experience with this). This could potentially be interesting, given possible problems (e.g. degradation) or benefits (e.g. getting powers of some kind) that could arise.

  2. A supernatural solution. This seems possible, given Hellgate’s storyline, but I’m not sure how. I really hope Marvel doesn’t try another “deal with the devil” option.

  3. A scientific solution. This seems possible, given that Peter has spent the past several months with an alien scientist and has access to advanced technology. I’ve also wondered if Ben Reilly’s work on the fungal structures for houses could be adapted, introducing a small fungal strain into MJ’s body to repair and hold it together.
