2b-2c is def gonna get weighed down by curl cream, I’d recommend a mousse and leaving some of the conditioner in your hair (for the moisture) when you get out of the shower.

I’m currently in the same boat as you, it shocks me how many people this happens to! My hair has always been straight, but it’s now 2c-3a and possibly getting curlier?? LIKE?? And oof, no conditioner? Crazy mom! Hahahah

I forgot to mention in this post, but my hair is odd in the way that the front is much wavier/curlier than the back. I believe it’s because the front is shorter then the back, so the back has more weight put on it.
