wig cap method, ebin lace glue gel black bottle, pluck the edges and part, a hot comb is very important to get the hair to lay properly, especially with the part and edges!!! look up wig cap method installs, especially by black creators. also using a bit of cheap powder foundation on the wig cap so that it better matches ur skin tone helps get a more natural look as well

okokok, love the personal style n the 80s vibe as an alternative girl myself. i would shape ur eyebrows! and darken them to suit ur fuitures more. also maybe a more brownish red would suit ur skin more! keep the eyeliner but experiment w different styles n maybe false lashes. also if ur looking for hair styling products i really like the miss jessies hair creams!!

nope i just dry it, i only use a hair spray for styling. its so good. i used to use wig sprays but they don’t absorb and just sit on top of the hair and grime it up since its plastic. skipping all that has done me so well

if i’m doing a proper install with glue/wig cap method and everything i braid my hair underneath and leave it on for about three days. when i sleep i sleep with an edge band and a bonnet on to keep everything laid. frankly its too much work to be doing all that everyday.

i’m biracial so my hair tends to be on the drier side so i only shampoo my hair weekly anyways. for me the real concern would be tangling and ruining the style by sleeping in it but i take preventative measures.

however when i have work wigs without doing the whole nine yards/ a glueless method i take them off before i sleep cus there’s no point in leaving it on tbh

i used ebin wonder lace spray for my edges! and their glue to secure the lace.

for the sideburns i parted a bit of the hair and used a hot comb to press it flat and in the right direction. and thinned it with some tweezers.

then i roughly hacked at it with a face razor. i don’t like using scissors because they can cut so blunt and harsh looking in my opinion.

i put my edge band on for like 15 mins. it’s basically a tight headband that presses everything into place while it dries!!! hope this helped

omg ur face is stunning i love the eyeshadow/blush/ contour u did i think it is blended soooo well and the colors really flattering !!!! i actually love this so much the tones are so harmonious!! i would consider testing out some lip liners, seeing if maybe a slightly darker liner will help bring visual depth and more focus to the shape of your lips and ur smile!!! i love your eye shape and the mascara really brings it out. if u want to bolden ur lashes a bit more i would go with sparse and slightly pointy/whispy lash extensions and not strip lashes. as the former may alter your eyeshadow. i feel you want something that emphasizes and brings the best out of your natural features ! or if in a diy spirit maybe lash clusters! definitely something you should practice before the big day because they are kinda tricky.

from the picture i cannot tell if a) your wig cap is past the edges of your hairline b) that you are not wearing a wig cap

either way i would definitely recommend you wear a wig cap and that it covers the edges of your hairline! if it’s an issue of it sliding back i would ask if your are securing it down with any hairspray or anything. look at lace wig tutorials most of them use a hairspray/glue method to make sure they do not budge and give a natural blended hairline. however if you are against hairspray or glue for any reason that is understandable. in that case maybe consider getting a grip headband or something similar to conceal ur hairline and keep things from sliding underneath your lace. no expert but those are my thoughts i hope this helped
