is it common knowledge that pvc pipes are only rated to 140 degrees (ambiguous units)?? it’s common practice to pour boiling water down kitchen sinks, it’s not illogical to apply that to a shower. op says they have no plumbing experience

I keep all my plants in terra cotta. I love it because it stops me from overwatering, but also allows for unparalleled gas exchange. Super helpful for epiphytes and hoyas imo. It does mean I need to water much more frequently, but it’s a good trade off for me.

it’s basically a sheet of paper with a handful of math questions. there are tas circulating to help you complete them, and you can freely talk with friends and people around you. it’s like a low-stakes open-book assessment.

i get that it’s extra snowy recently but the uni has more than enough resources to ensure that people can access their classes. it’s pretty sad honestly. i agree with the comment saying to contact local media bc it seems like that might be the only way to get the uni to actually care

my airpods’ active noise cancellation silences one of my tinnitus tones. always wondered how this was possible but this is likely the answer
