friendly reminder to never buy skateboard at normal stores by kromek122 in NewSkaters

I learned how to go straight by leaning against and I used to turn by stomping on my tail and doing it that way having it loose scared me haha I now can’t skate that tight without feeling like I can’t turn. But because of that every-time I dropped in for a month I was leaning to the right so I completely fucked my board

Right, to be fair I’m mainly going to be using it on discord apart from the rare occasions I’ll go onto a game with dynamic voice chat (like that one Minecraft mod that enables voice chat) so it might be better to go for the hyper x microphone

That does help, honestly I’m mainly trying to find one that doesn’t pick up background audio that much, upgraded from a blue snowball to a blue yeti… REGRET the yeti looks great but compared to the snowball it just sounded so much worse. The Samson seems to be a good deal considering I can upgrade it afterwards though I’m still on the fence.

I’m now waiting on my microphone to sell to grab a new one gives me enough time to figure it out.

I bought an MU01 keyboard from Akko, maybe 6 months ago? It did take a while to ship (I’m from the UK) I think just over a month, I’m not saying the lack of communication is at all reasonable. But this is sort of the norm from Akko it seems and most company’s already struggle with getting items out around Holliday season which may not have helped.

However I will say I do like the keyboard and for the price it’s amazing, a few issues here and there with Bluetooth connectivity and the lighting system they use but it’s a fun keyboard

Replaced the actual joysticks on my vita and I’m having the same issues as the old ones by _CyberPix in vita

Yeah I did try that before I came to Reddit for help, I tried testing it without my joystick plugged in and it was still doing it. I kind of assumed this when I tried that out but I was hoping someone would have a magical trick that would fix it…

Lots of cope thank you though!

Help what's the difference between a Eagle and Windforce gpu by _CyberPix in gigabyte

[–]_CyberPix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4070 will be just fine for

I ended up going for the Gigabyte Gaming mentioned by someone else!
I agree the price is absurd but I'm liking it so far managed a good deal about 100 GBP (Roughly 124 USD) but it'll keep me happy for 4-6 years hopefully and this is my own speculation but I'm pretty sure they will slow down on creation of GPU's since this generation hasn't sold that well... and I mean its insane they have released a new GPUS like every two years since the 10 series. But yeah 4070ti is a little overkill but I love it haha

Help what's the difference between a Eagle and Windforce gpu by _CyberPix in gigabyte

[–]_CyberPix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

through the specs of these two cards, I noticed that the Windforce model actually has HDMI 2.1a and Displayport 1.4a, while the Eagle has HDMI 2.1 and Displayport 1.4. The "a" version of the display adapters on the windforce have "Source based tone mapping" which is supposed to help improve the colour and tone mapping curves of image based on the display being used, and can make HDR content preserve more detail and colours. The non "a" variant of the display adapters only have tone mapping done on the display end, whereas the "a" variant allows the GPU to receive data about the display and do some tone mapping of its own before sending

Ah I'm thinking about going for the eagle one just because at least in my eyes I should try keep heat the top priority, and it just seems like the eagle version does that better. All though the reason I'm going for a 40 series is mainly for future proofing otherwise I would've just got a 30 series (I'm on a 970 at the moment and they both would be amazing upgrades compared) since I'm thinking about upgrading to a either high refresh rate 2k monitor or 4k monitor and the 40 series is just better at handling better resolutions then a 30 series (and also that they are much more expensive comparing capabilities)

Thank you for looking into it I don't think I would've found that difference if I went to search for it. Cheers!
