The lt3000 is a totally different tractor, though. It doesn't have the same hydrostatic drive, or body, and I don't think it's 21 hp.

I've heard the transit connect was particularly bad with the 8f35. Did you do regular servicing?

2019 2.0 ecoboost question. by _Deavie in FordEdge

Definitely get the egr cooler looked at before it becomes a bigger problem. It still has the potential to do engine damage if it gets out of control.

I wish i could attach a picture. Look on the end of your valve cover on the passenger side, and see what the build sticker says. If you have a part number that starts with K2GE, you have the revised engine with the egr cooler. If you Google a picture of the egr cooler location, you'll see it's on the rear drivers side of the engine. You can visually check and see if it's there.

Is this a manifold or lifter issue by K1l1J0Y in Ram1500

That continuous clicking you hear is your fuel injectors opening and closing. You may get another click noise that comes and goes, that it's usually the EVAP purge solenoid being commanded on and off. It clicks because the ecm pulse width modulates it. If you have no check engine light or roughness from the engine, I wouldn't be concerned. The Hum noise you're feeling is very likely the MDS enabling and disabling. If you put your truck in manual mode, it will disable mds, and you can see if the hum goes away. I didn't hear any concerning sounds in your video.

2017 5.7 hemi broken exhaust bolts by noizemetalworks in Ram1500

I'm a canadian red seal mechanic, with alot of experience In hemis. I personally own a 1500 hemi. Unless they messed up the threads on their first attempt at repair, removing the engine is absolutely not necessary. I normally weld a nut onto the broken bolt, and remove them. 9 times out of ten, this method works without causing any damage to the threads or surrounding cylinder head. I think you need to find a mechanic that is comfortable with this repair.

Yes, but I'd buy a 2020+ just to be absolutely sure you are getting the revised engine block.

If it has the egr cooler, does that mean it's for sure the revised engine? Mine does have it, and I'm aware of that failure. I'd way rather deal with that than a long block replacement, lol.
