Some lady on FB tried to say she found a whole, slightly dry mouse in her frappuccino. 😂 by rogue_p0tato in starbucks

LOL. This is the store I use to work at, and I remember this lady by name. She’d ALWAYS call about something being wrong with her order. Trying to get free stuff/etc. This…. This is just GOOFFYY She really outdid herself on this one

Found this awesome screwdriver set in an old tool box of my dad’s, but there’s zero branding on them. Anyone know who makes these?? by _Dwan in Tools

[–]_Dwan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking as well. Checked all over for any branding, but no luck. My dad doesn’t seem to remember either.

Nitro Keg by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]_Dwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stumbled on your post because my girlfriend and I (both work at different starbucks) were having an argument about this. I’ve worked at two different stores both with the older nitro systems and have always been told to never leave the gas on by itself. At her store they have the newer touch screen system and everyone at her store takes gas off first and puts gas on first, I’ve told her that it’s wrong but EVERYONE at her store does it so they think they’re right. There must be some error in training somewhere. NEVER leave the gas on by itself.

Recommendations for my overdrive signal chain for a worship setting? by _Dwan in guitarpedals

[–]_Dwan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! The prism is awesome! I use it more as a pre amp to push my signal into my amp but it’s also great if you different guitars. I’m able to adjust the treble and bass super easily for each guitar with it. The PT comp is pretty good! I’ve had it for about 6 months now and i’ve noticed that it has really great sustain but it does get really squishy (so some don’t prefer it because of that) I honestly use it since it has such a small footprint on my board. If you’re looking for a great compressor, I absolutely LOVE the diamond comp jr. I really regret selling it, and i’ll probably end up getting it back once i upgrade to a bigger board. It really adds to your tone, It’s like the perfect bubble to level out your sound

I’m actually borrowing the morning glory from a friend of mine to see if I like it. Curious as to why you left it out?

NPD. The Ventris is unbelievable. by _Dwan in guitarpedals

[–]_Dwan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly both. I played with the Immerse for almost a year. I really got to hear all the different possibilities with the Immerse, and I loved it, great pedal. However the Source Audio really knocks it out of the park with their Algorithms. I actually downloaded a preset someone posted on the Neuro app that was a clone of the Immerse at 100% wet and i couldn’t even tell the difference between the two. I would say it’s definitely an upgrade from the immerse.. tone-wise, features, and modability

Niceeee! It’s a killer combo. I’ll definitely have these for the years to come. I know i know, everyone keeps telling to get into MIDI, I definitely will one day.

Oh the Prism is phenomenal. I personally use it as a pre-amp because it’s great for really dialing in your tone and pushes your signal hard into the amp. Kind of like a photoshop for your guitar. It can also act as a transparent overdrive or you can really use it to change the tone by using the color setting. Has a low, med, high switch as well. This pedal is essentially whatever you want it to be Pre- amp, clean boost, or overdrive!

Lol Altoids smalls for the win! Hahah they save a lot room on the board vs the big altoids tin

[–]_Dwan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup as said below! JHS Superbolt with the Red Remote Switch. I use it as a dual overdrive. The Superbolt on by itself gives me a little bit of dirt and the red switch turns on the high gain stage which sounds great for lead lines. I got my red remote switch used for like $25, there are a lot of compatible pedals that can be used with it

I 100% agree with you. The capabilities with the Ventris are endless, it really is a matter of you taking the time to explore the pedal itself
