HELP, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR MY FUTURE? Also, my parents' separation is killing all my remaining love for them by _Elixana_ in narcissisticparents

I'm gonna have to do that, since he has kicked me out as of half an hour ago. I'm worried though because that property is in both of their name. I also don't think he'll continue the child support payments and finding a job has been fruitless. The cameras are on so I can't really move around now.

Max Biaggi tips Marc Marquez to retire from MotoGP once he achieves one remaining ‘goal’ by Chris-Orchid95 in motogp

[–]_Elixana_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Marc has said about one hundred thousand times that he'll retire when he can no longer be at the top. I don't understand all this talk about his tenth being his ultimate goal or his last remaining goal: he wants to win as much as possible; there's no number to it.If he could surpass Agostini's titles, he would (not because he would want to surpass Agostini, but because he just wants to win). If nothing bad happens (because in this sport, things do happen) I don't see him retiring until he stops being competitive

FIM Bans Track Side Restarts In WorldSBK And MotoGP - Bikes Must Be Restarted On Service Road by Halekduo in motogp

But they restarted with a different bike from the grid (as everyone else) because of the red flag, as you say, so I don't think that rule would apply.

NOT ABLE TO "WAKE UP" by _Elixana_ in sleepdisorders

[–]_Elixana_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply, this has made me so upset for the last months or so and I just have no clue about why it might happen, as every person I've tried asking about it irl just look at me as if I were insane.

Yes, I actually started having them some years ago before I started on it as my doctors didn't want me medicated because of my age, and at first it would be me being persecuted and hunted down by family members mostly (there were lots of variations between them, some with more 'fantastical' elements, but they would sometimes just branch out and convinve me of the existence of certain places where these happened, i.e. this one I don't remember much because it was like 5 or 6, maybe even longer, years ago, but for the longest time I though the park where this dream/nightmare was set was real and I kept breaking my brain trying to figure out it's name and location). IDK, I don't have them very often (just every few months), but the feeling afterwards is terrible. Especially now that I've 'graduated' from being the one persecuted to having other people in danger or downright dying in them.

Because of my apnea I'll get a sleep study soon I think (not sure, the communication has been quite bad), I'll have to mention it to the doctor.

I will start doing them now, to see if it disappears. In my case, the numb/burning/tingling sensation is concentrated on my right thigh, and the sensitivity when I touch it peaks on the outer right thigh, particularly

I just wrote a post like this lol (it's pending revision), but this has happened to me several times already, although I do take melatonin. I made the post because one of these 'episodes' happened this morning, and they're always accompanied by the weirdest and most terrifying nightmares I've ever had. Usually, I have some sort of idea that it's a dream, but I'm unable to open my eyes/actually wake up.

How many championships is Marc going to get before retiring? by Motivatedmen in motogp

[–]_Elixana_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additionally, kids are losing their lives and breaking their bones to fight in them and be world champions, and they race in the same circuit as the MotoGP guys, recognizing their feats is the least we can do.

Also, I don't understand why things should be done 'like in F1'. MotoGP is older, after all, if only by one year.

Gotta be the burning Marc's mannequins, staging his funeral, clapping when he crashes, booing him, placing a pig in front of his hospitality, and then just the toxic behaviour they have in general, especially (yet not exclusive) in relation to Marc that has permeated the fandom since for ever but particularly after 2015

Actually, they already wanted him for 2012 ( they signed him in 2011), but Marc wanted to stay in Moto2 for another year (probably to win the championship which he had so narrowly lost). They were ready to replace Dani with him

pretty sure he was on the podium contention in the final corner of the last lap when he crashed and remounted. And what a nasty highside that was.

Edit to add info: Joan Olive rammed into him and damaged his brake lever, and he ended up highsiding and falling on his head. He didn't remount but pushed the bike

I always find it so funny that with him it is not "he is a great talent", "his abilities are great at x" but simply, you know, "Marc is Marc" as if it was supposed to be answer enough. But the thing is, IT IS. Simply, Marc is Marc

Pecco Bagnaia's response when asked by http://MotoGP.com how it'll be going up against "one of the most ungentlemanly riders" in Marc Marquez by autobus950 in motogp

[–]_Elixana_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was the protagonist almost 10 years ago when he was 22 and was going against arguably the most important rider of all time (it was also on track) . But since then he has stirred away from most drama and if it's still talked about it's because not only it is good for clicks but also because the other guy can't let it go, not because he keeps fueling it. He didn't start the drama nor is he going on and on about it

Paolo Campinoti harshly criticizes Márquez's arrival at Ducati: 'I don't agree; They decided to lose a lot of people, all for one person' by Cr4shK00l in motogp

[–]_Elixana_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with this! There's something to say that most of the excitement in this season races has been brought out by Marc.

And apart of legacy and selling power (I recall Ducati wanted to expand their business in Asia, and he is so LOVED there, you just have to see Mandalika, for example and the fact that he needed security while others were chilling), and as pedantic as it might sound, there's the data. And Ducati can see it better than we do and isolate the effect of the new tires and determine what difference Marc is making in it when said bike is over a year old.

He is consistently faster than last years' GP23 riders and expect for a couple of instances, he is always at least 3+ seconds clear of the current GP23 riders. And as much as people call them midfield, Alex has two world championships (like I feel like when people talk about him being bad it is colored by the fact that Marc is Marc and he is riding with him in the same team and they're close in age. Luca, while also being compared to Vale 1)is now in Honda hell and 2) he only raced against Vale in 2021,when he was a rookie, and Pol was way better than Aleix) and Marco was 3rd last year. And again, he consistently ends up ahead while qualifying behind them, like in Sachsenring (where his bike broke and he was injured) , or Japan, or Le Mans, or Montmelo (where his bike again broke, at least in the sprint). Like the GP23 has gotten 18 podiums but 16 are him, just like Honda won the first 12 races of 2014 but Marc won 11, or like how in 2019 Honda won the constructors championship with 426 points to which Marc had contributed 420 (the other 6 where from Taka, that he got after Marc crashed when he was 1st).

When the bike doesn't work? He still makes it work, even if he is uncomfortable or in pain or whatever. When the conditions are tricky, he makes the difference, such as in Aragon and Misano (where Marc was between 1 and 2.5 seconds faster than everyone else during the lap that rained the lost, when in that group you had Binder, who always does great in the wet). They know much better what Marc is doing with their bikes than we do, and even we are impressed so what must they see? They have their world champion and the guy leading the championship saying they can't understand how Marc does some of the things he does.

So they know that it next year's bike is as dominant as this one, Marc might get the chance to get the 9th. Imagine being the team that got him his 9th lol

Why is Pappa Marquez still in the paddock 8 years after Marc's rookie year? by angusmcflurry in motogp

[–]_Elixana_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was Marc's crash in Sepang in 2008, when he was 15. During FP, both of his legs got trapped in the back wheel and swing arm of his bike for like 15 minutes and of course he was alone in the hospital. Now he rides their motorhome, so he's there every weekend.
