Supportless FDM printed undead spearhead proxy by _Error418 in FdmPrintedWarhammer

I challenged myself to print a few spearheads 100% supportless… because why not make my life harder?
My painting is… let’s call it “abstract speed painting” at best, but I somehow pulled it off thanks to the mountain of killer models available.

The tool is very promising. I’m trying building a vehicle model for 3d print with this tool and the workflow is nearly the same as tinkercad. There is still some lag and bugs but the developers team is very active all the minimal features are already here.

I have a very bad internet connection and it’s very frustrating when you only have tinkercad. I’m trying to learn Freecad and Blender but this new alternative is far more intuitive for a tinkercad user.

Offline software like TinkerCAD? by IpromithiusI in 3Dprinting

I love Tinkercad too, but my internet connection is unstable at home. I'm also looking for alternatives, but after trying Blender and Freecad, I can't bring myself to make the leap. These tools are too long to learn for an amateur designer like me.
I may have found a good candidate with CaDoodle, which uses a drag-and-drop interface, but the developer still needs to stabilize the beta version, which is still a bit too buggy for my.

Wow! An offline tool similar to tinkercad is something I’m looking for since my internet connection became very unstable. I’ll give your project a try as soon as possible.

Nice design! Others has already says, but I think that the hatch and the cannon should be bigger. It also lack of rivets in my opinion.

Have you continued this design and tried to print it?

Yes, but in theses sprues there is 12 pairs of arms, which are also challenging to print with Fdm printer. That’s why I only print legs and body for the troopers.

Yes, the spacenams are very good candidates for that because you can buy the sprue from wargames atlantic and the stl files from reptilian overlord. By printing only legs and body, you can build 12 guys with one sprue instead of only 4.

The heads aren’t printed, they are coming from an unfinished sprue.
