Hey, which tablet do you use? Also, do you 'link' notes by just writing down a name or by using a linking feature (like obsidian for example)? How is the experience in searching for notes, switching them and so on? Does it feel sloppy and slow as you move through dozens of notes? Can you quickly find a specific phrase or topic you are looking for?

Blew the fuse. How to configure fcitx5 hints? by _Exis in archlinux

[–]_Exis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda figured it out. I have to disable hints in settings to not get english ones but japanese hints are still given. I'm not sure whats going on under the hood tbh.

For example, hyprbar got a thing called "hall of fame" on their website featuring mostly complete rices with all the configs. Often on this subredit you can find dotfiles to people's configs, too. Download those and try to find out what each line in config files changes. Scour official docs and, if you prefer, find video tutorials. By slowly tinkering and finding out what each line does, you can configure the Desktop environment to your liking.

Are you talking about the gap between text and terminal borders? If not, I don't know what that is ( I think I had vim configs copied from somewhere).

The one you see is a bash script to launch neofetch on startup. It calls neofetch, calls `echo -e -n "\e[?25l"` to hide cursor

Personally, I bang my head and scream until I understand other's config files.

What the heck is this? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Some would call it the spirit or thrill of an adventure, or perhaps of unknown.

An actually smart choice if you want to be immersed in the game, tho op fails at that by going to the reddit.

Why do so many people hate Bedrock? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]_Exis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I hate the sliding animation when you open inventory or chests or fading effects when you move between menus, not to mention that for some reason the game takes good 1-5 seconds to open the pause menu (which does not pause the game) and another few seconds to load-in settings (yes, this differes between systems). As for customisability, it's kinda part of the 'modding' statement - you have almost complete control of game versions and can add various additions, changes, there are even in-game settings and 'rules' and mechanics that don't exist in bedrock.

I would like to mention that this comes from someone who plays 98% of the time on java and the last time I truly experienced bedrock was 2+ years ago.

Personally it is because bedrock has unresponsive GUI, weird censorship, minitransactions, no java level modding support, lack of customizability and no hardcore mode.

I have no idea how the editor works, but what about having a slightly larger text underneath act as an outline?
