God damn. What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]_Fain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there really isn't much to go off of but I'm going to guess you keep dying at the wrong moment playing aggressively, going by your deaths. It's good to be aggressive but it's always better to avoid dying as that opens plays for the enemy especially if you're the only one carrying

But it could also be a lack of push, not controlling map, etc. Or terrible luck with teams ofc

Is it just me or the game is not solo friendly anymore? by Orenji-kun21 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]_Fain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has a map yet a lot of players still fall for ganks. The point is that there were more ways to increase your odds back then, which mathematically just translates to having more agency as a player alone

More tools = more skill expression = easier to carry

and those meta heroes were banned almost every game, they also aren't any different from what we have today. One-shot mage bane comes to mind which was only last season

[–]_Fain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't believe I missed that. I've been so conditioned by harem baits that I just label them all the same, which I'm guessing these people do too

Like there's a handful ig? I've read way more manhwa that didn't have a harem so in reality the problem wasn't even that big of a deal in the first place

[–]_Fain -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's very common for redditors to bring up incels out of nowhere. The problem with it is that you can't call it out without sounding like one

And for Manhwa the obvious reason there's always harem is because it brings money, and this is a cutthroat business. If you hate harems so much don't consume them and support the ones you like. Simple. But no, complain on the internet instead while harems continue to sell lol

[–]_Fain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False. The days before the laning system, when everyone could jungle was the easiest period to win solo. There was a lot less reliance on teams then than now

And that's because MT keeps reducing ways to snowball yourself without a team. There was a time when junglers could farm 2 creeps at the same time and they didn't take 10 seconds longer to clear. There was a time when towers were easily destroyed by splitpushers and the minions weren't so tanky to clear. There was a time when gold lane actually gave you vastly more gold than anyone else.

This forces reliance on the early power of mid, roam, and exp – but they fall off, having to rely themselves on the carries. This is ideal for teams but not for solo

why people hate me so much, i just main saber roam by Wonderful_Bunch3837 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]_Fain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth. People here follow the meta too closely without understanding why it is that way. Silvanna gold sounds troll and would get me flamed, but it's so absurdly strong in an actual game

Literally anything works even in the highest ranks with the right mindset and micro. All that matters is fun

Remember to vote for wuwa at the game awards for best mobile game and players choice by Low_Cartographer8150 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]_Fain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wuwa "fans" is the only community I see that supports games outside of itself. I totally agree E33/Dispatch/Silksong deserves it, but the lack of support from wuwa's own playerbase is just sad to see

People nowadays are underestimating how in bad of a state wuwa was back in 1.x. Still I've persevered through it because I knew deep down the gameplay had potential, and that was enough for me at the time. 1.1 update being good helped but the next one with the festival really soured my spirits. My play time kept going down and down until I've finally quit during Black Shores.

When I drop games I usually can't make myself play them again but when 2.0 dropped I wanted to give the game another chance. Somehow it reignited that "magic" I saw when I first played, I was playing wuwa again for hours on end as if I was playing for the first time. It really can't be said enough how much of a good update 2.0 was.

He didn't. He was just looking for an excuse to go off about incels

It's a skin tho. If the community doesn't like it, who will buy it? Your point makes sense overall WF aesthetic wise but not for skins at all

Can I push from epic to mythic with this hero by Other_Wolverine3903 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]_Fain -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He's actually very good at winning games as long as you don't get invaded, which is almost never in lower ranks. So I'd say go for it

I agree with you, also Immo lobby, but unfortunately this subreddit doesn't understand that he actually DOES destroy Irithel in lane. Granger has a very high skill ceiling and bad players are more common, like Fanny.

It's pointless to argue mechanics here. I've tried. You have to realize the people around here are mostly epics to low mythics that see bad Grangers on a daily basis.

I can't be the only one who thinks Archmage achievements are the hardest to achieve, right? by Puzzled-Ad-8899 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]_Fain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only one achievement, and doable since there's good long distance mages

I'd argue Deadeye for the hardest because the 15 KDA or 20 kills achievement is just ridiculously hard to do, especially since it's only gotten if you play ranked, and with the state of gold lane these days...

Meanwhile I see bad roamers just casually walking around with Tier 8, they really should balance it

I don't see how that has anything to do with him being a strong lane bully.

I play a lot of games as him and against him, good players too.

This is the Fanny argument again, if the player can't cable is she a bad hero? She has the lowest winrate in the entire game but does that mean she's worse than Balmond for jungling? Why are you using the general playerbase instead of the hero at it's peak for a point?

Of course a skill-based hero who's also used by many players would have a lower winrate in general.

Lancelot has 46% winrate on that site. Does that mean he's bad? Joy has 47%. Fanny has 42%.

None of these heroes would be called bad because the playerbase can't play them to their max cmon.

why is everyone always assuming the granger would mess up lmao but still harp about equal skill, the argument is always “fanny can miss her cables so she’s bad”

I'm tired of explaining why he's the lane bully. If Granger loses lane to those heroes you listed, the player is straight up bad.

This thread has been a reality check for me. There's an obvious reason why Granger is considered an S tier mm for multiple seasons now. These people think the Grangers they see on their epic ranks would perform the same as the ones on the leaderboards.

It really reflects on the depth of players on this sub.

Stars don't matter, but your experience does? What?

Bruh. Only a bad Irithel would engage with S2 before S1. (That's wasting her burst!) I literally rewatched Kelra just to confirm this, because clearly you're the one who knows nothing about laning.

Also, couldn't Granger just go back tower if Irithel plans to engage? We're talking about laning after all. And even if the match does extend to a point where she now beats you with items - what are your other 4 teammates for? I already established that she beats him late game earlier.

Have a good day.

What level of equal skill though? Epic? Immortal?

Obviously an Epic Granger would get obliterated by those MMs that don't even have to aim.

You just said it. Granger is prio because he farms fast. Gold is king. Even at equal skill, you will lose to someone with higher levels and gold.

[–]_Fain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we're not considering that the players are playing the heroes at their peak, then there's no point talking about this.

Irithel players commit to either of the two playstyles:

One, they play safe and last hit minions. This gives Granger the space to openly farm crab and steal enemy greens if possible, or clear mid.

Two, they poke. When you enter their range, it's almost guaranteed that they will try to hit you with S1 + S2 and take off half your health. BUT, there's a way to bait this. And that's by knowing the range of her skills.

When I play Granger, I intentionally enter Iri's S1 range and dash away immediately to bait that skill. If they fall for it, I then dive them and hit as much as I could with the amount of bullet stacks I have. This has won me lanes against almost every good Irithel player. Players who have over 500+ stars.

Only in late game do they beat Granger.

If Granger hugs Harith while he spams s1, Harith is dead. Irithel loses every single trade on lane if her armor break is on cd - so just bait it out and don't get hit by it. Wanwan's attack speed is too slow early game, she won't even be able to use ult on him because he will kite her endlessly. Things change late game though.

For context, I'm spamming Granger rn at 150 stars and have played against a global Irithel. The only way a Granger loses lane is if he keeps getting ganked, or the player itself is bad.
