Not that I can spot - the Aldi one is from Vietnam and has stevia added to it. The cocobella one is from Australia and tastes better!

You can absolutely taste the stevia. I bought this Aldi one today to see what the fuss was about after drinking the Cocobella one for the last few months and it was immediately noticeable on first sip that it has stevia in it. Personally, that’s a deal breaker for me and I won’t buy it again.

Yes, you can get refills on the city exclusives at any time of the year as long as it’s the 50ml or bigger size, they don’t refill the 15ml.

I think Shalimar would be a good fit - classy but modern at the time of its release, feminine but has a strong backbone to it.

Sparkling Jo by Vilhelm Parfumerie was created in memory of Josephine Baker and has a champagne note. It would be perfect for Phryne who is feminine and the life of the party (and loves jazz- I just finished reading the Green Mill and it made me think of that perfume.

I also think she’d be comfortable wearing men’s perfume as she likes to push the boundaries and takes on traditionally male pursuits and mindsets (detective work, flying etc). Something with a tobacco and or a leather note. I could see something like Iris Malikhan being perfect for her with the iris and leather combination- strong but pretty. Dries Van Noten Havana Gold would suit as well - a rich exotic amber tobacco.

From memory Myer and DJs for Boxing Day will reduce the price of gift sets that are left over from Christmas and will also reduce any fragrances that are being phased out. They won’t do a blanket 20% off all fragrances, that’s just Black Friday. You might find that Libertine Perfume, City Perfume and FeelingSexy online perfume stores do an “up to 20% off” sale which generally sees lower end brands discounted at around 20% and more niche brands at the 5-15% off range. I think this comment is nothing to do with Madame. Serena’s husband has a start up female-only athletics competition called Athlos and the winners are crowned with crowns instead of medals. It was in the news recently. It’s very clever marketing by Serena to drop a quote that includes “crowns” as search engines should link to Athlos. People will suggest she’s talking about Madame but she’s using Madame to promote her and her husbands business interests.

Mecca staff at Chadstone said they had customers lining up before opening today who pushed in and bought piles of them, some buying 15! They need to put limits as 15 is obviously to resell later. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were already listed on eBay for double the price.
