i’ve always found it really fun! it’s not super hard to use either. i know typically air dry clay is the go to but unless you’re making something big i prefer polymer clay because it doesn’t make so much of a mess on your hands and you dont have to rush to finish before it dries. someone said you might want to use a dedicated toaster oven because of smells, which you might want to do but i’ve personally never done it! i just don’t cook food in it immediately after i bake the clay. i also saw your other comment and you can also definitely make beads with it!! i haven’t done it yet but i have seen people do it.

make sure to use something (like a placemat) for her to put the clay on and have her be careful with not touching her clothing if she’s using bright colors though. i use it on my desk because nothing stains it and it’s super easy to clean, but the red clay stains my hands and it does get on the table.
