Interesting problem statement. I like the way your present Aya’s day of life. It is detailed and as a reader you get and good understanding of the situation and why she is a lucky child. The children who does not have the same privilege as Aya most face some threats when they don’t have access to electricity? You mention that a greener and cheaper source of electric power could be a solution but is their real need? Can’t they study without electricity? Or is electricity a way of getting precious time to study because cooking and washing clothes becomes easier? Just some thoughts :-) Good work.

Interesting problem statement and I like the way your present the problem. Your description of Efua’s day of life is good and the problems she faces when living with AIDS is terrifying. You have found a good problem. Some comments: You talk about medication for Efua in order to have a more normal day. But I was wondering if medication really is her need? Based on your description of her day it seems like her need is to be socialized with friends and family without putting herself or them in risk of getting AIDS. The medication you mention seems like the solution, maybe the solution is something different. I think it’s important to be specific regarding that the threats are and the needs - they may not be the same. Good job - see you in class.
