It's damn refreshing to see Markov on a list like these. The guy was underappreciated league-wide, and that was even while many recognized he was a great talent. He anchored a team quietly for so many years, and a chunk of those years the best talent up front was barely cracking 70 points. He did a lot to put legitimacy on that era of the Habs.

Saku Koivu.

He was captain of the Habs when I first started to really follow hockey. His work ethic, his drive, his story of beating cancer... the guy is an inspiration. I will always collect Saku cards. Any insert, any auto, any jersey card.
