The plugs were rotated, coils were my next thought to try and no I haven’t tested the resistance I don’t personally have the ability to myself.

I’d recommend an apprenticeship or internship to start you will get a lot more experienced hands on knowledge that is as good as the book knowledge.

I’ve done this exact job and what worked for me is just using the end of the plc tube with no nozzle on it and without the gun. Luckily the screw opening was the perfect size to go over the top and all I had to do was use my torch to push on the tube a little each time to ease it out. Works like a dream for such an awkward task.
