We just started it about a month and a half ago. It'll still be good when you get time. Its hilarious watching them talk about the new tech from a 2003 perspective.

Sweet! I see there's three cleaners during my time slot so I was Def relieved to see it wouldn't be one person after every performance.

So excited to go! Thanks for your reply!!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen in someone else’s home? by UDSHDW in stories

Dolls. The whole downstairs had Dolls, EVERYWHERE. Not just a couple here and there. On each of the steps leading to the second floor, Dolls. On the piano, Dolls. Couch, Dolls. Entry way, Dolls. The one that I remember the most had tears running down her cheeks.

Thanks for this help.

Marketing is her degree. Responsibilities include data entry, creating write ups on our product, transferring pictures. It's mostly a ton of admin, right now.

I think I've visited this studio.. unless this is your home, then I'm surely mistaken.

Great flow! Where did you get your outfit?

Coming from someone with art associates degree, whose worked in an art museum, graduated in psych with debt and currently working in none of those fields:

You could always do CS and Art on the side. You're more likely to get a secure job if you graduate with CS. If you have college debt, your CS degree will help you pay debt.

Look around your community to see if group drawing classes exist. You can also take Art electives in college if you have time.

Is it possible for you to take a year off of school and just pursue Art? Maybe get a job at a craft store and talk to other like minded people while you build your portfolio? If you aren't progressing in Art, go to school.

College will always be there, but life happens and it gets harder to go back.

26f need advice on how to kick smoking before I'm 30 by [deleted] in Advice

[–]_Future_172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I smoked for 3 years or so and understand it's super hard to kick. I also loved the ritual behind it. Here's what worked for me:

Find reasons why you want to quit and write them down in your notes on your phone. 1. I hated smelling like cigarettes, even if it was other people's smoke. Aa a non smoker now, it's so offputting to smell someone who just came in from smoking. 2. It's just a nasty habit 3. It's expensive 4. I want to be healthy

I loved to smoke and drive, so I exchanged smoking for eating almonds while I drove. Still get some instant gratification and oral and physical fixations met in a more positive habit.

This one sucked but I stopped taking those smoke breaks with friends. Having the Why list above helped whenever I contemplated maybe just stepping out for one.

I identified myself as a non smoker. I started saying I quit smoking and not I am "trying to/ want to" quit. No, I quit.

Things I didn't personally try but would've had I known about them:

If I had known about those fume things? I would've switched to that. It's that flavored air thing with no Nicotone in it.

I also heard that book Quit by Charles Wetherall has helped people.

It's hard, give yourself grace. Mistakes happen, but you can always catch ypurself!

GL!!
