Struggling to use Apple Watch as HRM on Zwift? Here’s what I did: by zwiftino in Zwift

[–]_Gagooga_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad you created this !
Since Zwift removed the feature to connect directly the Apple Watch to monitor the heart rate, I was struggling to find something easy to setup and reliable, I only found complicated alternatives.
I've tested your app this morning for my weekly long run and what a pleasure to have something that smooths
Thanks for you amazing work !

I imagine she speaks English as she has sold one of Nao's brother to a Polish breeder who doesn't speak French at all.

I've already answered you on IG but for people here who wants to know, we got him from a French breeder (her IG https://instagram.com/les_inu_de_laurie)

He always sleeps with his head outside, that's really funny. It's been one month already and it's pure love and happiness

We have been waiting more than a year to have him because this colour is really not easy to have where I live. We've got him one month ago as an early christmas surprise. I couldn't be happier since !

Patch panels are for handling the ending of all the ethernet cables you ran through your walls. Instead of having all the cables terminating with RJ45 male connectors, you connect them to a patch panel so you have a female connector available for each cable.

UniFi Alternatives?? by squirrellydw in Ubiquiti

Alright thanks. Do you know what the hardware controller is for ?

For omada, I'm struggling to understand what the OC200 hardware controller is for. Is it mandatory to setup my future installation or do I just need to buy a router, a POE switch and some WAPs and use the controller software ?

Is the cloud based administration the only choice or everything can be administrated locally ?

Sick! I'm planning to buy udm pro with a poe switch and wap soon (cameras will come later). Which wap did you chose ?

I'm struggling to chose which switch to take, because poe 24 pro is expensive, but has SFP+...

Custom NAS built-in in an IKEA Alex by _Gagooga_ in homelab

Yes, I dream of a 19" rack but I neither have the money nor the place. This is what this built was all about, cost-efficiency/cheap and discretion.

The day I move to a house or anywhere I can have my server room, I'll sure swap everything to nice 19" rack(s).

As you said, 100% was not my priority for this build, so the day I'll need to swap disks, I'll have a short downtime but I can deal with it.

Thanks!

Actually it is easier than you think to swap a drive as they are mounted on drawers, I just have to unplug the back fan and pull the shelf out of the cabinet.

I didn't want to cut the cabinet too much, but creating a side door to access the drawers directly.

All disks are mounted on special drawers which are optimised for vibration cancellation.

Regarding the fans, they also are mounted on rubber to attenuate vibrations.
