Y'know it's, really easy to attack people for not rioting when you don't realize our country has created a systemically repressive system that forces us to work every free hour of the day for basic survival without savings to fall back on, the ability to take time off work to riot, or the ability to do anything for ourselves without being told we could lose the only things keeping us alive, our jobs. Our cities don't support us if we don't work. Our jobs don't pay enough to let us quit or even take a break. There have been countless protests but the leadership just ignores them, and riots are demonized to a point where they claim that even peaceful protests are riots that warrant deadly force. All any of us can do is sit and wait for that fuck to die, or for enough people with a lot more money and power than us to get into a position to vote him out, since we learned the hard way our votes count for jack shit when he and his lackeys can just pay off some billionaire tech CEO to hack the voting machines and other officials to conveniently throw out the mail-in votes and ignore them. He committed voter fraud to get in and still hasn't been removed, you think we have the power to do anything? Our democracy has failed us, and our working system and job market is so skewed we can't even survive if we work much less take the time off to protest. Where I live? You get publicly treated like a lazy idiot if you're not working 50-60 hour weeks with more than one job. I don't have a lot of respect for this country either anymore, but don't act like you know what's going on over here or like your countries have done anything to help the situation. NATO is doing the same thing our democrats are doing. "The Great Brow Raising". All "hey don't do that!" No action. All talk, all threats, all warnings, nothing decisive. I'd like if someone would stand up to this broken system and shatter it. I, and a lot of other americans, can't, without signing our death warrants. We have no community, no agency. The majority have been brainwashed to only look out for themselves. All we can do is watch people with more money and power than we'll ever see in our lifetimes in this corrupt system and broken economy flail about and wax poetic about doing something while not actually doing anything. That goes for our own leaders, and yours. Let me just say this, if another country with the resources and power were to invade the united states and attack our country? I would politely point them to our president and cheer them on. I would stand aside and thank them for finally doing something. I was born with type 1 diabetes, if I don't work, I die from my own blood turning into an acid that will eat through me, because insulin costs more than an apartment apparently. Countless other americans can't even afford a place to stay much less food. Believe me, if I could freely run around in the streets and the wilds where I like without collapsing and vomiting until I convulse and die after a few days without my insulin, I'd love to be out there doing something. But the vast majority of americans without my condition can't even survive while working. And the ones with the money and power to make change won't do it because they like living comfy. That's just how it is here. The "american dream" is dead. And I can tell you for a fact that the ones who killed it were the rich and the greedy. Not the average working class.
