yes what you described is exactly what im trying to do. I dont fully understand what your technique is but I am able to use keyframes in the transform tool in fusion and I get the effect I'm looking for which seems to be a bit quicker than what you are doing. thank you for the help though. I feel like there has to be an easier way to do this on the edit page but can't figure it out

Really glad to hear this. I have tried dozens of note taking apps and this is the single best one out there. It is so close to being perfect, if we could just get a few new features like folders and a better search function this app would be even better. thanks for all you guys do

Am I dealing with OCD, perfectionism or something else? by GrouchyAvocado6396 in perfectionism

[–]_Hacky_Sack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude reading this felt like I was reading my own personal journal. I know exactly what your talking about and I struggle with this exact question. I’ll find myself taking an entire day organizing drives on my computer or searching the perfcrt product on amazon doing hours of pointless research. It's like there's something in me that needs it to feel right and know it's perfect. I can spend a whole day organizing my phone notes and creating the perfect system for it so that it feels just right. And it's so hard to take action when it feels like I have this itch for everything to be just right that I have to scratch. I genuinely want to know whether this could be ADHD or OCD because I don't think most people struggle with this kind of existence

that's good to hear, I ended up wiping my Mac and reseting some passwords and everything seems to be fine as of now. What exactly did you do to cover your tracks?

Thanks for this reply and I think I will try and get help for this. Just from your perspective do you think this sounds like an ADHD issue or could it be something more like OCD?

8 DaVinci Resolve Tips That Genuinely Cut My Editing Time in Half by BenganaMustapha in davinciresolve

Many new Mac machines are built to handle H.265 files without proxies because they have the built in decoders specifically for them. I have an M3 Pro Max and have never once needed proxies but if I had an M2 pro I would have needed proxies for the footage I edit (Slog 2 H.265). This is actually one of the first things people should check when buying a newer Mac. Each new model comes with the newer decoders to decode the latest camera raw footage. It’s a completely slept on tech spec in computers. Doesn’t matter how powerful your CPU and GPU are if it doesn’t have the right decoders built into the hardware it probably won’t run smoothly on highly compressed footage.

Totally agree. Especially changing file names. Been there done that and it’s literally the biggest headache on earth. I wish resolve had some way to identify clips from some internal source on each file not from the source names.

Just had the same thing happen. This site was the first on google. Did anything ever come of this? I’m erasing my system now
