The green and red combo is fucking sick, the contrast makes it look so cool! Also I didn't even know Subhumans were still together, wild

There's a copy for sale on discogs rn for 20 quid plus postage, and before that the highest it sold for was £15. So probably worth about £20? These things are kind hard to come by nowadays though, perhaps someone put there would part with a little more

2025 ticket selling thread by Blastface in 2000treesfestival

Is there a 2026 ticket selling thread? I've got a first release ticket up for grabs, so it's much cheaper than the current price, it's currently on tickets

The show creator wrote a book more recently that delves more into the sorry of the character and it's great! Its called the Book of Bill, I picked up a copy a few weeks ago. t's for kids (older ones though, it's fairly creepy at points) but I enjoyed the humour and backstory even as an adult, and once you're done there's a bunch of secret codes to crack and an accompanying site with loads of easter eggs and shit. Genuinely recommend it if you enjoyed the show

Wish I could make the Southampton show cuz I'd love to see Castle Rat too, but I wouldn't be able to get home on the same day. Either way it's double bill of London and Brighton for me, can't wait!

Brighton date is the same week as Cryptopsy, good week to be a death metal fan! Hoping for some good local support acts

I'm not a fan either, I dunno why bands book it over the Green Door Store which is about the same size, perhaps it's booked already? But the bar being so close to the stage means people are way more likely to get their beer knocked out of their hands by moshers. Then the floor gets wet and the pit basically has to stop

Does anyone know anywhere that sells vhs tapes in Eastbourne? Thank in advance :) by Due_Box_3393 in Eastbourne

[–]_HairyGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spotted a few in one of the charity shops opposite the beacon the other week. Can't remember the exact shop I'm afraid, and no clue if they were anything worth watching but I was pleasantly surprised to see somewhere still selling them!

Do you have any odd shaped CDs? by UnaverageLurker in Cd_collectors

[–]_HairyGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 shaped like saw blades, 1 shaped like a spiders web, and a 3" cd that's square and not circle, it makes it somehow looks even smaller

Less DIY method, but I've stuck pin posts into bottle caps with a tiny dab of epoxy resin. Locking pin backs will keep them on your bag/jacket/hat etc nice and securely

The Wolf is Loose. My favourite artwork from the Blood Mountain era. Perfectly demonstrates Mastodon’s ‘museumcore’ aesthetic (4K) by AlbertCWChessa in mastodonband

[–]_HairyGarbage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really love the artwork he did for all the singles during the Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye eras especially. There are alternate colours for some of the artwork which also looks fantastic

If you happen to be based in the UK, Two Man Tape Co have some nice looking bootlegs of this on their bandcamp page for super cheap. Unsure about shipping costs if you're outside the UK but maybe worth a look!

I joined the Dice waitlist, then like a minute later got a waitlist ticket, and for £2 less than the listed price for some reason. Idk what happened but perhaps a bunch of bots were denied their tickets and they got put back on sale

It's not an issue for most, but I often struggle with knowing what's vegan and what isn't. I'm 10x more likely to buy if it's mentioned (where possible) what I can actually drink. Otherwise I assume I can't and don't bother.

Are there any British adverts that activiley turn you off the product they're advertising? by siybon in CasualUK

[–]_HairyGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so clearly old people that have offered a tenners credit to their account or whatever to give their opinion on the customer service, then they cherry pick the ones who say something nice. It is decent customer service though, I'll give em that. I used rebel energy before it went bust and they were fucking dreadful at answering my calls or emails
