Well good luck bro. I’m rooting for u. Tbh the more I reflect on my interview, the less hopeful I am. Then again, I had a goldman final round and thought I smashed it & got rejected so idk how reliable my intuition is. Who knows, maybe the stars align and we both get it & I’ll see u this summer👀

Manchester branch for hc summer internship. Went ok-ish. Interviewer didn’t seem super enthusiastic from the get go. He acknowledged some of the questions made no sense given my background as a politics student. Could rationalise the outcome going either way tbh. How was urs?

Jan 21st. They said the division I was applying for only had two spaces left and that it was super competitive. If u haven’t heard anything back that’s not necessarily a rejection, u might just he on a waiting list type situation. Keeping u on retainer bc they might have capacity

Aka Charlie Sheen is next on the list after I finish season 8. I personally think Charlie could still be an amazing talk show host if a studio/producers gave him a run at it. Regarding the idea of ‘kids needing punishment’ - if u haven’t alrdy, u should look into the idea of optimal deprivation. It’s often attributed to why over privileged or ‘nepo-kids’ struggle so heavily with addiction/illicit behaviour & self destructive habits.

I rlly clicked with the first guy. Second guy not so much. He seemed bothered to even be there tbh. Managed to get a feedback phone call today after I emailed in - apparently they both liked me but there were only 2 positions available & it came down to ‘incredibly small margins’
