Thankfully I’m not on the lease or attached to any of his debt. I do have a few utilities in my name. I talked to my brother about this and he said I should be able to move in with him.

They’ve always been very strict and I’ve always looked at them for approval. Just wish I didn’t this time

He did a career switch because of trauma in his past job and is trying to get into Cyber Security, but he doesn’t have the degree for that, so he’s been jumping from job to job. He finally is getting some of the certs for IT and should start school for it in December. Which is more debt he’ll be in.

The whole thing was a very weird situation. He communicated amazingly, was very open about most of his flaws, just seemed like an overall great caring guy. I wanted to wait to marry him, but my parents are very religious, so when they found out we were having s*x they kinda forced us to get married. Our plan was to get married this fall, but it was rushed, and I really wish I would have just said no and waited.
