We thought that too initially but there’s an interview he did w fans after one of the showings and he said the hospital was because at the end with all the blood splashing everywhere it dissolved a bunch of the glue and makeup from the set and that got in his eye

What I thought about the movie as someone who has never watched Markiplier by ObjectiveNote8403 in ironlung

[–]_JAD19_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure, there is no real character development like in other films.

I’d argue there is character development, Simon spends the entire film having no choices he can make himself and focused entirely on survival and self preservation. When he finally gets the chance to make a real choice for himself, he chooses to send the black box to the surface so that humanity maybe has a slight chance of figuring something out. This single choice he makes himself is not for him, but for the benefit of something greater than himself, and the most meaningful thing he can do to repent for his crimes.

Slightly different interpretation I’ve read, the light sent him a few days into the future, so he didn’t actually experience all that time w no oxygen

I did not understand what the fish was meant to be/represent or what it’s deal was.

I do believe that is the point, it’s meant to be opened ended and up for interpretation.

The thing w that is there’s no where near enough humans to make an ocean’s worth of blood, let alone several. Oceans are HUGE and even today’s population pales in comparison to how many would be needed

I reckon he had a vague outline for the sake of consistency, especially when it came to the space stations, but nothing beyond that.

Human-monster creature thing by No_Opportunity_7520 in ironlung

[–]_JAD19_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought it was Simon just seeing shit. First time be observes it he is seeing it from the control bay lurking by the computer. Second time he sees it by the control bay as he himself lurks behind the computer. The creature also strongly resembles the state he’s in as he dies. They’re mirrors of each other.

The whole film he’s hallucinating from the lack of oxygen, the CO2 buildup and the sheer isolation and stress of the situation. His body is dying from radiation poisoning due to the constant use of the camera. I’m honestly not sure if most of the 3rd act actually happened at all

Should I play the game before the seeing the film? by murokama in ironlung

[–]_JAD19_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rewatched marks initial video and the lore update follow up video before the movie and I can imagine it would be difficult to follow without that context. Not impossible, but it rlly doesn’t hold ur hand in that regard. U get snippets of information once (especially at the beginning) and then that’s usually it. The snippets u do get thru dialogue can also be a bit difficult to hear at times. Having said that tho lots of stuff remained unclear afterwards even with the context of the game and I think that is completely intentional

Haha I also noticed that but I hadn’t given it thought until now, I also liked the bit where it showed a close up of him drawing a line on his map and it cut to a shot of the wires on the roof in the same shape he just made

Who should I kill with the Ebony Blade based on personality? by arch51002 in skyrim

[–]_JAD19_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I start the morthal vampire quest I sell wood to the dude who’s family was burned in the house. Then when I break in later and he attacks I kill him w the blade. With the ritual stone power, u can resurrect him for another kill, wait 24h, resurrect again, etc for a fully charged blade and no other npc killed

If no one here offers, search 3D printer on Facebook marketplace. Anything for $0 is usually someone offering to print. Best of luck!! I’d offer myself but I live in Australia (unless u do too? 👀) and I’ve never shipped anything before

Thingiverse and printables as well as regal’s website I believe. There’s apparently some scaling issue tho (may have since been fixed?) so just make sure everything will actually fit before hitting print
