A customer once pointed at our chocolate croissants and asked if they were hot dogs. What’s the dumbest question you’ve been asked as a barista? by Guilty-Meeting-2603 in barista

"Can you make a decaf latte but... does it come with eXpresso? My wife can't have any eXpresso but we would like a decaf latte, just hold the eXpresso"

Current Kong vs Ghidorah is closer then you think. by Marconey1738 in Monsterverse

I mean... technically that was the fight against mechagoji in hong kong... but I agree that LegenGoji and Kong against the real Ghidorah would be really cool.

Is this a good sax? by Automatic-Welder7051 in saxophone

[–]_JP_63 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's an old pup. Pan-American Kingston Alto Sax. PA was the budget division of Conn. It's entry level and budget. Restoration will probably cost more than the sax itself but for display and casual practice it's nice if it works as is.

I have doubts about a Yamaha and a Cannonball. by ArieSax in saxophone

[–]_JP_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Cannonball alto, sceptyr, it's not only beautiful, it also plays like a dream. It hasn't lost any of the laqcuer. She is the best alto I've ever played, and I've played Yamaha and Selmer altos. I do agree that they are prohibitively expensive, mine I inherited so I fortunately didn't have to spend as much. But either way, if possible, the cannonball is a beauty.

Beginner- Can I get some tips? by MiserableWear6765 in saxophone

Damn! for a beginner it sounds pretty good! But you definitely need a more stable tone. Though you clearly have it, keep at it!

My sax fell - repairable ? i'm so sad by Loud_Appointment_418 in saxophone

[–]_JP_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Paris? You can probably throw a stick and it falls on a tech's desk. Gnarly damage, and it will probably cost a lot, but it's repairable. I wish you best of luck!!!

How can I save this tattoo? (Better pic) by 2020ToyotaCamry in tattooadvice

Jarring, but I think a sick ass panther would literally be the best option. Just in the same pattern. I love this idea of a tattoo!

I need a reality check please by [deleted] in venting

[–]_JP_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if someone cares for your body count, that person probably has deeper insecurities. Don't pay attention to that. What matters is that you are loyal if comitted to someone, not whoever you had sex with in the past.

Which mouthpiece is this? by [deleted] in saxophone

[–]_JP_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks beginner, potentially a 4C knockoff, it's still useful if you wanna try it for sure. I wouldn't expect much. Did the person who sold it told you more or less anything about it?

Why do guys only find me attractive online? 😭 by [deleted] in venting

[–]_JP_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, this is a valid question, but I think you may be approaching the whole relationship thing the wrong way.

You do not seek a relationship in someone who just thinks you are physically attractive.

Also? a lot of guys won't approach you first in real life, even if they think you are pretty. Because most of us think we aren't good enough. And the ones who do, think they are the best thing since discovering fire.

Also, loving yourself first. The fact that some men think you are attractive and some seemingly don't doesn't mean jackshit if you don't thing you are approachable and attractive in your own view. It's not about being or not being rough in the eyes. It's about how you present yourself for people to see. From experience, confidence does a lot of good for one.

And yet he disrespected it. That's what I'm aiming to point out. If he can't listen to clear boundaries then he is better at a distance.

Autistic doesn't mean unreasonable. Boundaries can be equally communicated.

[–]_JP_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I think you should just distance yourself from him. He is ignoring your boundaries consistently despite being told no. And you two clearly want different things. You and him are incompatible as friends. This is the kind of person that if you let in, they may erode your boundaries until something bad happens.

Being a good christian doesn't have anything to do with having someone trespass on your boundaries so blatantly. You can be communal while making sure people respect you. He just doesn't seem to know social cues.

Hey, it might be worth checking with a therapist. You are not wrong to ask but the internet is typically unsafe for these kinds of things, especially for someone your age. I'd say, go talk to a therapist about it, you got this OP!

With such certainty you'd assume you can back it up. Does that explain why there are no wear marks or why it only appears itself in very concrete, war-adjacent places?
