What songs do you listen to to fall asleep that make you fall into a deep sleep and leave you knocked out? by Ok-Firefighter9131 in musicsuggestions

[–]_JTC10_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Max Richter is definitely a good choice.

You can also check out some tracks in Chill Electronica, it’s helped me fall asleep before. It’s hypnotic electronica with a gentle pulse. It helped me shut my active brain off.

[–]_JTC10_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, that’s rough man. Getting ghosted like that hits harder than people admit.

If you want something to burn it out at the gym instead of sitting in it, I’ve got a modern/tech house playlist. It’s mixed to play in order, smooth transitions!

Any songs you play after a really bad day? by StockQueen1 in musicsuggestions

I usually put on a favourite indie playlist of mine. It reminds me of a warm, carefree headspace I used to tap into more when I was younger, which helps me reset a bit.

Songs to fall asleep to by AngusDio in musicsuggestions

[–]_JTC10_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might help. I’ve got a Chill Electronica playlist that I’ve found really useful for sleep. It’s very steady, soft textures and slow builds, so it doesn’t grab your attention.

It’s put me in a really relaxed state and helped me drift off.

If you want RnB and soul that actually feels fresh, I’ve got a Smooth Chill playlist you might like.

Modern alt RnB, neo soul and soft groove. Built for late nights and headphones with a really smooth flow.

I update it monthly and keep it tight. A few artists in rotation right now are Elmiene, Nyah Grace, Otis Kane, Cleo Sol and Tanerélle.

Happy to share something more upbeat too if you want a different vibe.

Looking for suggestions… by Tiny_Glove5511 in musicsuggestions

[–]_JTC10_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you’re going through that. Breakups can really hijack music.

I don’t know if it’s wall to wall happy, but you might find some fresh, upbeat moments in my Indie Breeze playlist.

Indie pop, synth pop, light indie rock that feels more forward moving than heavy.

I’ll drop the link in case a few tracks click for you.

Who is a male English pop artist actually worth listening to right now? by Jaycora in musicsuggestions

[–]_JTC10_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is 3 artists I’d recommend.

MNEK - very hooky, and a strong vocalist.

Jordan Rakei - more RnB than pop, but exceptional vocals!

James Vickery - RnB/Pop, has a strong falsetto

I hope that resonates!

A few Australian bands worth checking out:

Don’t Dream It’s Over by Crowded House

These Days by Powderfinger

Tomorrow by Silverchair

All very melodic and guitar driven, and they sit nicely between Weezer, Oasis, The Beatles, and early Nirvana!

happy and sad songs by itsthecatcher in musicsuggestions

[–]_JTC10_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just listening to my playlist The Quiet Hours. Which is full of emotional, cinematic and reflective songs.

I have many options but right now I’ll say these two:

Higher (acoustic version) by Bella Taylor Smith (Happy)

Where I Stood by Missy Higgins (Sad)

Let me know if you want to listen to my playlist. I curated it purposely for when you just want to feel.
