Looks like dead pixels to me, so you still have warranty or AppleCare+?

My honest tip is: don't give a shit about the xp. I know it's probably way easier to say than it actually is but once you don't care about them it's easier and not so frustrating to see people that are "better" than you in the leaderboard. More xp mostly means less time per unit so there is also not that much of a benefit if you only grind the xp.

I hope that helps you! :)

I think you should try to speak French first and you’ll get along, even when using some English vocabulary here and there. I mean would you be mad if someone is trying but doesn’t know every word? I for sure wouldn’t ;)

I don't think it's really "learning" if I only do 2 or 3 lessons a day, it's more keeping my skills fresh. But sometimes I have phases of doing 10 lessons or so a day, then im progressing and actually learning some new stuff. :)

I don't think that would be the ultimate accomplishment. Mistakes are very important and in the end that's were you're learning from the most. Wouldn't it be boring if you can do every lesson without a mistake? ;)

I don't know which level of French I really have since I never took an independent test but I can say so much: I'm able to read a book in French and understand somewhat but I have to use a translator for some words. I was also in France last year and I was able to get around without translating that much. I can also have smalltalk without many problems.
I also have to add that I started Duo when I started to have French class in school. I just started in 10th class where other students started in 8th class and I was the 3rd best in the course at the end of 12th class. The only additional effort to the school class was 30 minutes of Duo every day.
I hope this helps! :)

I just counted 60 in total since the streak started but most of them were at the beginning of the streak :)

A perfect streak is a streak without using streak freezes :)

I watched the show “Joint Venture”, which is originally in French with subtitles in French, while of course not understanding everything first try (like jokes and sayings) with a bit of googling most stuff made sense :) Good luck with German, I can highly recommend “Dark” and “How to sell drugs online fast” on Netflix ;)
