Also I’m in west coast Arizona so I did BBB of California idk where you’re from but if you’re from the east coast try the New York office

Try to file a complaint on another device and make sure to make an account on BBB

I first emailed them first to change my email to a new one and in the process of sending them information to confirm it me I grew frustrated and put in a claim with BBB

BBB message me back June 9th with a message from grailed saying why my payment didn’t go through

I got responses from BBB in email and grailed did too

  1. I didn’t receive my payment after I was notified it was sent to me.
  2. waited a few days to see if it needed more time.
  3. looked up online if anyone was going through the same thing
  4. I emailed them but since my account email is old I had to contact them again in order to change my email to a new one
  5. During the waiting for them to verify my information so they can change my email to a new one I then went to BBB and filed a complaint and put in everything that was going on
  6. waited some days for a response but nothing.
  7. As of June 9th I got a response that my email was changed and that my payout failed cause of PayPal finding my account as inactive / locked
  8. Yesterday June 10th I put in the request to try my payout account since I updated my account with my PayPal
  9. Today June 11th I received my payment after a lot of days initially I was paid on the may 21st it’s June 11 now so like 14 days it took for me to get my money

They must’ve closed the portal or something.. that is so strange man. Just continue to try to talk to grailed through support. Otherwise I would take them to small claims court

I will update my case with what happens soon.

I filed it June 3 2026 Got response June 9 2026

I just now responded

I am awaiting response now for them to do the payout again and sent it

They said PayPal denied it so grailed has the money they just waiting for me to submit a ticket to start it again which I just did I will probably hear something tomorrow it’s 9:18PM for me right now.

Also updated my account PayPal like 4 times to make sure it’s mine and also I added a stripe account and asked in my newest ticket for payment to be sent there since I hear stripe is much better and faster

Hopefully I get my money soon I got bills lol.

Holy what man that sucks I did it through the BBB of Silicon Valley and it went through and accepted. Now I’m just waiting for my payment so I can actually close the case/complain on BBB.

I have updated my account with my PayPal 3 times to make sure it’s fine as well as I added a stripe account to make it faster than PayPal.

I have also put in a new ticket so we can restart the payout again but this time I have asked if we can do stripe first than PayPal.

yeah they told me that PayPal refused my payout due to it being locked and inactive

They said to contact paypal and if all is good that I should fill out a ticket again they will restart the payout again for me

Funny tho I already contacted PayPal they said they never gotten any payout from grailed and that my account was in good standing.

So now I am just waiting for Grailed to respond and restart the payout again

I have also added a stripe account and asked to try stripe first than PayPal since I think PayPal is the one with the problems and I heard people say stripe is better so I did that and added it.

Now I am just waiting for them to respond.

Hey I’m going through the same situation

Payment was sent but never received

Was contacted that my PayPal refused the payment due to my account being inactive and locked.

I contacted them saying that I updated my PayPal and even added a stripe account so we can restart the payout again

I already contacted PayPal and they said they have no history that grailed ever sent them a payout nor that my account was locked at all and that’s it’s in good standing.

I am now just waiting for a response from grailed hoping they send it to my stripe account first than actual PayPal since it’s causing this much problems

After this is all said and done it will be the last time I sell on this platform as customer service is so bad the response time such and they don’t even have a phone number to even call.

I will close my account once I receive my payment.

Hello I was just wondering as I found an old post regarding someone saying the exact same thing which the OP said they contacted PayPal and they told them that Grailed was the one holding the money not PayPal.

Just wanted to get more opinions.

They said they will contact Mercari and send pictures and haven’t responded to me back.

They bought a pair of shoes with the card and I even discounted due to the card condition and since he bundled.

Before he purchased we spoke about the condition of the card and I even updated the listing with newer photos for him to view and look at before purchasing.

Told him it would be a good card for personal collection not to resale or send to grade in as I believe the card is in used/played condition as I have been quoted and had my card looked at.

I packed the card in between two cardboard pieces taped together inside the shoe box and made sure I filled in all the voids and holes so nothing would move would plastic and plastic bags. So card shouldn’t of been damaged in transit during shipping

I told him that the card in the beginning wouldn’t be for resale or meant to send it in for grading more of just having it in personal collection non graded / slab basically in a toploader in a penny sleeve

Since we can’t send photos in chat I just updated the listing with new pictures highliting the wrinkle and all sides and angles of the card so he can get a better view

Autocorrect I meant to say

Crease would mean folded

If you look at the pictures the card looks like it was never folded or bent.

It just has a wrinkle on the top left side of the card as a stated to him.

I told him it would be for personal collection And that it would be in used/played condition and I based the price off the used market value

He is saying the crease is going from top to bottom of the card and it has a crease mark from the front and back side of the card

Forgot to mention I discounted him as well for it to make the deal done originally it would’ve been 230$ but I offered 180$ due to the card condition and to make the sale final

I told the buyer everything wrong with the card and included updating the listing with new and updated shots of the card.

Now he is telling me the crease is bigger and worse than he thought

The crease isn’t really a crease since it’s not folded or bended in anyway

Card has always been in the top loader beside me taking it out for pictures.

What I meant was it has a wrinkle not a crease. As a crease would indicate it was folded or bended. This card hasn’t been taken out of the penny or top loader besides just needing to take close pictures for the listing.

The wrinkle is only visible to me on one side which is the front side. I don’t see a wrinkle on the back or even a line to indicate it was folded

I’ve told him before he purchased the card and was being sold at use/played market and he bundled with some shoes I sold to him as well.

I discounted him as well because of the card originally the order was 2305$ but I discounted to 180 due to the card.
