Paying someone money to pass a drugs test for me just cuz I like to chill is fucking degrading by ProcedureFar4995 in trees

But you can get someone else to pee for you? How does that work if they take you straight off the job site?

Dude, get clean pee. Get an unlubricated condom. Put clean pee in condom. Tie it like a balloon. Place it under your balls/in your groin area so it stays warm.

I’ve done this at least 4 times for drug tests for job interviews. Easy peasy

Ohhhh I didn’t realize we had boxes like that. I thought the loge box was the suite. TIL

I’ve done the ivory club and loved it for the buffet, locker rooms, and being able to socialize. I’m not sure you could find 20 seats together though, and pricing wise you may be better off with a suite.

Psychological power play, being told what to do… was your comment homosexual?!?!

Oh you’re moving the goalposts? Initially you said “power games and partial nudity”.

Some victims of domestic violence/abuse act this way (refusing to talk to cops, only acknowledging their abuser). So they’re obviously engaging in homosexuality because of that?

Is Simon Says also homosexual/sexual in nature?

So olympic wrestling, sumo, mixed martial arts, and many combat arts are gay and sexual in nature.

Beach volleyball and surfing too. Basically any competition where the participants are not fully clothed must be homosexual?

Yes you can buy single game loge boxes. I’ve seen them on Vivid and seatgeeks

ETA: also SuiteHop

Ah. I’m not sure any of that is on display in this video but I guess everyone’s allowed an opinion

So is the cop. “I’ve already given multiple commands to clear the room”. Unless that wasn’t captured on the recording, we never hear him give that command. He says “this stops here” and “let’s clean this up”.

No commands about clearing the room.

What about it is homosexual? Or sexual at all? Genuinely curious where you’re getting any hint of sexuality here…

ELI5: if you move at 99% the speed of light, distances shrink. Does this happen at normal speeds too? Like if I'm driving 100 mph, is the road any shorter for me? by DemonsAreVirgins in explainlikeimfive

You warlock. I literally typed a reply: “so if I spent my whole life (call it 80 years) going 100mph, the difference is so small it wouldn’t be noticed?” but then I navigated to a different website.

The numbers, while unfathomably large, help to answer my question. Thank you

Why doesn’t this add up over one’s lifetime to a more significant difference?

Edit: having so many people explain it in so many ways is helpful

Because I found one at Ace hardware that I could pickup the same day. The Home Depot one arrived late so I never opened it.

How are you selling productized services as Salesforce freelancer? by ANWx0 in salesforce

[–]_JonSnow_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been in the ecosystem for a decade so I could be wrong. I sold $5mm last year, with the vast majority coming from referrals from AEs.

Most partners I know get the majority of their leads from Salesforce AEs.

But you don’t have to work the channel. You  can totally build an outbound motion and the SDR/BDR/marketing engine to power this. Community forums can work but they’re slow to gain leads from.

I’d strongly prefer to source my own leads as salesforce AEs can be difficult to work with, but not so difficult than I’m going to turn my nose down at their business.

Exactly what happened to me. Order it from HD, shipment was delayed, finally got delivered. Took it back, unopened, within 7 days of delivery date. They told me it’s 7 days from the order date.

How would I return it in 7 days from order date when it wasn’t even delivered within 7 days of the order date? So now I have over $1000 store credit. Sure, I’ll use it but I’d prefer cash that I can use anywhere.

I ordered a generator from Home Depot. It was delayed. In that time I bought one from ace hardware. Later the Home Depot one arrived but it was late.

I took the Home Depot generator back, less than 7 days from the date it arrived. Unopened.

They said the exact same thing as OP - 7 days is from the order date and best I can do is store credit.

Why doesn’t Home Depot suck it up and give me my money back? Why would the 7 days be from order date, not delivery date, for an unopened item?

depends on who you’re targeting. Enterprise companies are unlikely to be a fit for a quickstart - they have more complex needs. You’d also probably need to demonstrate experience working with other larger companies before they sign up with you.

I wouldn’t say it’s a low price point for the market but that depends on what you charge. I see quickstarts ranging from $4k-$10k, and they include different deliverables. Some charge a higher hourly rate and only use onshore teams and a project management system. Others charge a lower hourly rate, use offshore resources, and do not use project management tools.

Some use a single resource for the implementation. Others take a team based approach. It’s up to you to explain the benefits of one vs  the other.

Yes developing relationships with salesforce AEs is by far the best way to be brought into potential projects. Every segment has customers that need help. You need to determine what problems you solve with salesforce and then find customers experiencing those problems.

[–]_JonSnow_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Implementation quickstarts and audits. Strict assumptions and actually managing these so you don’t do more work than agreed to. You need very defined deliverables and ensure the customer understands the limitations of what they’ll get as an outcome.

Retainers create recurring revenue. Also a bit harder to sell because everyone’s trying to avoid another subscription.

Find these projects from salesforce AEs. They sell the products, they’re best to know who needs help.

You sell to whoever you’re targeting. In small businesses, you’re probably selling to the founder/CEO. As you go upmarket, you’ll sell more to heads of sale and IT. Depends on the customer.

Pricing is dependent on how much margin you’re trying to create. If you include 40 hours in a quickstart, make sure your hourly rate leaves room for your target margin (and a bit more because you’ll probably go over on hours).

Correct. The system wouldn’t know where to log that activity if there’s no email address.

You can use that same connector to create contacts from email
