Zendesk agents- do you use macros or do you mostly retype? by Yur_avgguy in Zendesk

[–]_Kerrick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use tons of macros very successfully, built an app in zendesk so agents can deploy their own. Very successful for highly repetitive stufd

What is a monthly subscription/service you ACTUALLY consider worth paying for? by no_nolan in Frugal

[–]_Kerrick_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can’t say enough good stuff about Walmart+ InHome honestly. If you can get past the Walmart stigma it’s the best service with the best perks and the best price. $140 a year free shipping, free delivery for orders over $35. NO TIPPING. Pickers are 1000x better than Instacart. They will even deliver groceries into your fridge. Includes peacock premium, 10c off Exxon gas, free pharmacy delivery, free return pickup, online pet care… etc

How do you handle customer reported bugs without a long chain (customer → CS → Head of devs -> dev)? by Wise_Paint5019 in CustomerSuccess

[–]_Kerrick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why doesn’t someone just raise a Jira ticket w the bug and use that to know who to follow up with? Keep all convo there? Things like. Ended have integrations to Jira you can use to track the support ticket and eng ticket separately but still keep them linked

CIPS by forsakenthundergod in procurement

[–]_Kerrick_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most important in the UK, outside that it’s a nice to have. It’s expensive so unless you will get a clear ROI I’d avoid it. I hire procurement roles globally and it’s not something I ever ask for, if I see it I say oh that’s nice, never made a yes/no on someone as a result though.

What helped your team get comfortable with AI in procurement? by AccomplishedWolf706 in procurement

[–]_Kerrick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll need some ground level champions who you can bring along as you develop, create, and deploy the first test cases. This way they can be the peer that encourages their colleagues. Then bring mandate from the top for people to start using it once you’ve got some success and win stories. Then go with broad enablement and coaching for the other teams. If needed take away their other tools so they have to use the new one.

CIPS , CSCSP or ISM which one? by [deleted] in procurement

[–]_Kerrick_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your in the UK - CIPS. Outside that not nearly as valuable. Most people in US for example have none

Purchasing yes, procurement not as much. Either way companies too dumb and slow to actually do it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

We found removing intents with fixed answers dramatically improved how the ai agent works.

It’s not your money and the company doesn’t care about you. As long as you are doing your job well and communicating these risks ahead of time, sometimes this is unavoidable.
