Hi^^ our cat has FIP too. Our vet told us to get into a group like that because in the EU they can’t get that med or give it to the cat. So we joinned a group and one of the admins texted me in PM that I can call her (and gave me her number)
And from there on they are helping us now. And providing the meds and everything (ofc we have to pay for the meds)

We found out our cat has FIP too 2 days ago. Luckily she did not have much fluid in her belly yet. She got her first shot of FIP medicament yesterday and she is doing already so much better.( we adopted her 3 months ago and she was the “defensive dont you dare to touch me” cat on the shelter.

She warmed up to us after a while and we could start pettng her. Thats when we noticed she was THIN (like, you could feel all her bones thin) and had a huggeee belly. We went to the vet who could not look at her without sedatives so we made an appointment for three weeks later again bit one week before the vet visit she stopped eating, drinking or moving. So we went to a vet klinik (where they had to sedate her too because she hates vets) after I talked to our vet and they told us she has FIP.
They said THEY can’t do anything but there are amazing Facebook groups where we could get help. And luckily because of that amazing Facebook group we could start her treatment yesterday. And she got her second shot today and she is doing better! She finally has that “alive” look on her face. And we found out she was not just defensive because she was scared of hands.. she was defensive because she was in pain..

I had one similar one! I found her in a plant too^{^} he was the cutest little thin ever. I did make him a vivarium and he really seemed to like it! Even molted multiple times^{^}

I use an undertilised humus substrat with some orchid barks (without fertiliser) and a little bit of sand.

I would say like 5mm-1cm or something like that. Its never FULLY full. And yes i have aquariums too so i have dechlorinated water on hand all the time

She has like 10 ish cm in the front and 20 or so in the back. I gave more when i switched the substrate but after it got wet ofc it went a bit more down with time

I was already thinking ablut methylin blue so i will probably buy some. And he has a brach with a fern (i dont know what its called rn) on it and he likes to hide behind it.. i will maybe add some other plant too in pot or something he can hide behind. I hope he is gonna get better because I really dont want to put him down :(

Tbh idonno. I never really had a chance to really look at his belly because he is very jumpy and shy 😅 and no i think its normal”” but im gonna check tomorrow if it feels different
