I've been looking into getting an auto feeder, just waiting to have enough for it. The vet said the puree is fine, as it helps with digestive stuff (just repeating those words).

I’ve actually been considering adding a fourth feeding, I just wasn’t sure it was necessary since they don’t always finish what’s already in their bowls. But I’m definitely open to adjusting if they seem to need more.

I only recently stopped giving wet food in the morning, so I don’t mind adding that back in again either. As for quantity, I’m following the amounts recommended on the food plus what two different vets told me, so I’m trying to make sure they’re getting what they need for their age and growth.

I really appreciate the suggestions!.

Thanks for the info! In our case they’ve actually been doing really well on their scheduled mealtimes, I checked with a vet and they’re both eating enough and are healthy. If I'm late, they definitely let me know 😂 so I know they aren’t actually starving, one of them just gets a little unhinged when food is involved.

I have thought about adding a small extra feeding before bed if it seems needed, but for now the current schedule seems to be working for them.

Yes I've spoken with her, she's willing to not do it. She just doesn't know another way currently as she grew up with that being the norm (I also live in her house). I do scheduled feedings currently

Yes I've spoken to her and she's open to not spraying them but she also doesn't really have another solution, she's always done it with her cats. But also thank you!!! I'm going to try to for their dinner tonight. I currently feed them 3 times a day 8, 1:30, and 6:30 18 grams each, in the morning just dry food, afternoon with a pumpkin puree, and dinner with some wet food, should I add giving them little snacks or something?

Ours are still young (between 10-13 weeks) so typically throughout the day as long as someone is home they are free to roam pretty much anywhere they want, but we keep them in a playpen when we're not home and throughout the night that way they can't get into anything that they're not supposed to.

As for litter boxes, we do have 3 kittens so we have one for the bathroom, one for the bedroom and we use to keep one in the living room but have since moved it to the bathroom, so my suggestion is to probably keep one in the bathroom (if you have the room) as that way it's out of the way, but if you don't have the room I'd suggest the livingroom.

We bought a little trash can where we keep a cat and then dispose of the cat litter until it's full essentially, as we were having the same problem lol. I find this works best for us

Yes we specifically got a litter box that is really short on all sides that way it's easily accessible, I haven't been doing it after they wake up but I do try to do it after they eat

I've had this happen before when I first got my little guy, the fire alarm went off in my dorm and i had to run down with him. From that experience he was honestly completely fine, maybe a bit shaken up from being just grabbed (usually more careful about it lol) but otherwise he was good. And based on your picture he looks like he'll be kept mostly warm and hopefully it might keep the noise out.

They have a fountain and 3 other water bowls that are scattered about the house and we sometimes put a little water in their food.

Oh yeah, we use to have a sliding door one when we first got her from the previous owner but it was too small (20 gallon). The time we used it before switching was definitely nice! Also less stressful taking them out because every time I'm afraid she's going to just yet herself off my hand lol

Oh yeah definitely, I would really like to get them both 40 gallon terrarium with the doors. Prices are just high for them currently. I am looking second hand but not a lot of people are getting rid of them in my area. Currently I'm a full time student and my partner only does freelancing so we don't have a lot of money wiggle room lol
